This establishment is a food trailer located within a car wash facility. It offers Carnitas that are generally quite good, although occasionally they lack flavor. The Carnitas are prepared in the style of Quiroga, Michoacán, and, to be honest, this is one of the best places to obtain Carnitas in Houston, at least among those I have experienced or know. The only issue is that, from time to time, the Carnitas are overcooked, resulting in a burnt flavor. Having purchased from this vendor multiple times, I can attest that the taste varies occasionally, but most of the time, the product is delicious.

The carnitas were so good, the lady taking orders gave us sample tacos. The price per pound is fair, and the product is delicious. It comes with all the fixings. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic carnitas. We will definitely be returning.

I came after the morning rush and they still had some carnitas to sell. First time having legit carnitas where you have to order by the body part. Had a surtida taco (mix), cuerito (skin), and then a costilla (rib). All tasted amazing and were different texturally. I wanted to try buche (stomach) but they sold out already. Portion size was huge. I had ordered two more surtida tacos but had to bring them home. Owner is super nice and told me his story about how he was born here but learned how to make michoacan style carnitas from his uncles who show up in the Netflix Taco Chronicles episode during Quiroga market segment. Definitely a repeat and worth the trip if you’re looking to try authentic carnitas. Amazing food experience.

Majority of our family sell carnitas and are well known over there. Paco and Marthita have been at it for a long time. They work hard to provide good food to everyone. They are very good down to earth people. Hands down the best Carnitas I’ve ever had. I’m not much of a pork person. But I’ll eat those carnitas. Make sure to check them out. Saturday and Sundays at 9800-9898 Airline Dr 9am until they run out.
