We are an authentic Mexican Food restaurant with delicious family recipes we’d love to share the taste of with the world. Come join us for a true taste of Mexico. We’re open for the Summer Tuesday thru Saturday 11am-8pm and Sundays 11am-6pm. The last half hour of every day is Togo’s only. We do offer Happy Hour between 3Pm and 6Pm. Happy hour is 20% off of the entire check. We do allow Service Dogs at our establishment. During the winter as long as your furry friend is friendly you are more than welcome to take them on our Patio. Only Service Dogs are allowed inside.

My Suegra said this was the best carnitas in town, so that was good enough for me to check them out. Don’t just drive by thinking it is a BBQ joint. I stopped by to see if they sold carnitas by the pound. Friendly service, when she recognized that I was new (and near closing) she reccomended I get the family pack, which was 2 lbs of meat, rice and beans for less than just the meat. So I got that and did not regret it one bit. To go orders only for the last half hour, and I am definitely coming back!

This was another taco shop that was recommended to me by a coworker. If I were to guess the type of food that was served based upon the outside of the restaurant, then I would’ve guessed that it was a BBQ restaurant. The BBQ vibe changed as soon as I walked through the doors. The inside is much more colorful and decorated as you might expect a modern taco shop would be. I went to Carnitas El Taste on a Saturday for an early takeout lunch. They were just finishing up making the fresh tortillas for the day while I was ordering. I talked to the person making the tortillas and he said that they will make 900 tortillas per day in the slow season. I let the cashier/hostess know that it was my first time and I asked for taco recommendations. After getting a rundown of the menu, I ended up order 2 regular tacos, Al Pastor & Carnitas, and a “Secret Menu” Chile Rellenos taco. The takeout order was very well packaged and included all the toppings and sauce that was needed. The tacos were all good but the Chile Rellenos taco was my favorite. I will definitely try Carnitas El Taste again but next time will dine-in to get the full experience.

We love this place! Our family usually orders to go, but I took the kids for lunch and we ate inside. It was such a nice experience, we will definitely make this a more often outing.
The waitress was super nice and very attentive. The salsa that came out with the chips was amazing, and I’m picky on my salsa! I love spicy and this one had great flavor and some bite as well.
The torta meal was a great deal and my kids and I loved every bite. My picky eater ate her whole tostada as well!

They have a family meal deal that you can order and it comes with everything to make carnitas tacos at home, (This is what we usually get) and it’s a great deal for when you just don’t feel like cooking but don’t want junk fast food.
Also highly recommend is the huarache. SO GOOD. It’s like a giant corn tortilla with meat, beans, sour cream and guacamole. I’d definitely recommend that for a big eater or someone who wants two meals.
Oh, and the aguas are great too!
We’ve had all of them, the horchata, jamaica, and the limonada. My personal favorite is the limonada because it’s so sweet and tart.
We will be back, it’s a great place off 32nd street and near 6E, so it’s convenient for us.

This place is legit! Don’t be fooled by the “hole in the wall” look outside. These are some of the best tacos that I have ever had. Heavy on the meat and homemade corn tortillas. The inside is also very welcoming and clean. The design and artwork inside complements the food nicey! Kudos to the chef, wait staff, and owners! Truly well done.

Went for a lunch date for the first time and they did not disappoint. The place was very clean, we loved the designs and atmosphere. The service was amazing! Thanks to Alex who provided a nice experience, we very much appreciate attentive service. And the food was great, we tried the carnitas plate with corn homemade tortillas. Will definitely be coming back.

Tried this place for the first time. Very good carnitas plate! Good flavor and plenty of it. Nicely decorated. Rear is a bar area. Better than it looks from the outside. Don’t be put off, you will like it!
