Came to their new location in west allis, bar area was busy but not very many tables to sit at in the dining area the majority of the tables were not being cleaned right away, we came at 3 to try the carnitas but alot of it was sold out my husband had menudo and i had tacos and agua de jamaica. We paid and upon checking the receipt, they even charged for the onions and cilantro on our tacos. out of all the mexican restaurants we have been to no one has ever charged for onions and cilantro that is an automatic freebee. I am not if i will be returning that small detail will have methink twice or maybe the server should have mentioned it.

Absolutely wonderful first visit. The owner is such a kind man. Carnitas and birria were unbelievable! The food was just fantastic.
The restaurant is great, though space is limited. The staff was extremely kind. The other patrons were also kind and welcoming.
The owner offered a huge piece of fried pork skin to try, and it was to die for. None of that weird preservatives taste you get with packaged pork rinds.
This is an absolute hidden gem, and yet another reason Milwaukee is a great destination for Mexican food!

The food was so good, the service was great, one of the servers help me pick the right meal and I was grateful. I took my son who has never had carnitas and he loved them. I can’t wait until next weekend to visit again!!! 10 stars if I could.

Love this place! Recommended to a few friends and they loved it too. Food is always fresh and delish! A bit noisy but that’s what brings the good atmosphere and awesome vibes. Love everything about it!! We live far but it’s so worth the trip.

I order a couple pounds of carnitas, they don’t come with lime, cilantro, onions, as other venues do, flavor is ok but not the best, their chicharrones are very good tho.
