The food here is really good. All their meats are grilled over an open fire (except the carnitas). My go to is a Pastor burrito. My husband is always the carnitas. You order at the register and tell them what you want in the burrito. Then you wait for them to call your name when it’s ready. I like that you can watch them prepare your food. The ladies preparing the food are super busy and efficient. This is my go to place for burritos. But I’ve seen other orders come out that look fantastic. This is true authentic Mexican food. The service is fine. It’s difficult to rate service when it isn’t table service. The atmosphere is hustle and bustle. It’s almost always crowded, which is a good sign that it’s great food. They offer some produce grocery items, deli items, and pan dulce, too. I recommend Carnicería Azteca.

I love going here for lunch. Huge menu. Hard to find things like buche. Also a nice mercado. I’ve made a few adobado pork steaks. And they’re very good. The staff is very nice and helpful. All smiles. Lots of parking for customers. Nice bakery with pastries. Frozen homemade tamales. Fresh salsas in a cooler by the front doors. Nice ceviche bar. 2 different types of chicharrones. I even found some Mckormick’s mayonnaise imported from Mexico there.

This was the worst I have had in a long time. We ordered carne asada plates. The rice and beans were average. But the kicker was the carne asada. It literally came out as beef jerky. It was impossible to cut with a plastic knife, so we had to tear pieces off…just like beef jerky. I don’t know why others rated it so highly. The prices are certainly cheaper than other restaurants, but the quality of the food was terrible. Having said that, the store is fun and if you are looking for food products from Mexico, this the place…just skip the food.

The tortillas were cold and stale. The buche was dry. All of the tacos came out cold. Some of the seafood tacos had avocado, and some didn’t. I’m super disappointed as I wanted some delicious authentic tacos and what I was served was inedible.

Really good store if you like to cook, love the best flour tortillas, or want a house made meal. Plus all sorts of groceries.
The monster chicharron are very good and one is a meal on their own!

It’s like a mini trip back to Mexico (except for the prices). The conchitas are legit (airy like the good ones in Mexico). Freshly made flour tortillas are also really good. Haven’t tried the food yet but everything else I can recommend.

This. Place. Is. FABULOUS! If you’re going to gets fast food, you can get way better food here for the same price! I’ve been eating here once a week lately. I love 2 fried chicken tacos with beans and rice and a slice of chips, $13 and change. It’s sooo yummy. Their tamales are delicious, very rich masa. And the chips are thick and crispy without being overly salty.
You can also get good Aguas Frescas to drink, and ice cream or crepes after.
Or if you wana cook at home they have delicious marinated meet that makes an amazing Carne Asada, I can’t stop eating it!
They also have a ton of great spices, drinks, and Mexican candies. Plus everyone is nice!
You seriously gotta stop by!

Great Mexican market with groceries, butcher, and restaurant. Good service and the dining area is nicely decorated. Love the street tacos and sodas.

This was the worst food we have ever had. Ordered two plates of heuvos rancheros. The tortillas were so overcooked you couldn’t bite through them. The entire whites of the eggs were burnt and the yolks rock hard. There were chunks of cheese just thrown on top. This meal was $25 and did not include rice or beans. I will NEVER eat here again. I will also make sure to tell everyone I know how horrible the food is here.
