Excellent sandwiches from a.small Italian deli. Stopped in for a late lunch and the service was friendly and extremely helpful with our order and questions. The food was delicious, all freshly made with quality ingredients and ample portions for the price. Their homemade lemonade is some of the best I’ve had in recent memory and a great option. There is seating indoors and outdoors but limited parking. We ate in but this would be a great spot for takeout as well. An excellent option in the area for lunches.

I wish I lived around here so I could come here everyday and get to know the owners. You can tell this is a family run business where they truly care about every single customer experience and the quality of the food they put out. It’s hard to give them enough credit for how great everything is considering how busy the place is. This is one of my top 2 top 3 maybe delis I’ve ever been to. Everything I got was absolutely delicious and went with a group 3 times and nobody ever complained once all we kept saying is ok we’ll be back tomorrow for lunch. This spot is a true GEM!!!! It’s impossible to not like this place in my opinion- ginormous menu with every option you can think.

Very old school diner feeling, but with a vast amount of space for sitting down to eat. The food is delicious and portions are more than generous. Sandwiches are way bigger than I was expecting. we got the regular sized soups and they felt like a large. I can only imagine what the large portion size was. Coffee lovers will love the portions (the fact they were giving my girlfriend a “to-go” cup as we were paying the check was above and beyond with the service). The soups came with a massive garlic bread slice I wish I asked seconds of. I’ve ordered from them for years because of their vegan options and decided to come in one day with my girlfriend. We were so pleased we agreed we’d try and come by as much as possible when our scheduled days off align (I’ll totally be ordering from them as much as possible til that next visit). There’s also a stage with musical equipment and a page dedicated to music playing there. I’d love to come by one night to see how that plays out. Looks entertaining.

First time at this place and it’s really cute inside. I ordered a Carlito’s Way sandwich and fries, 10/10! I never had a sandwich taste like that before. It was super yummy! I will be going back. Also, I love the disco ball!

Carmines went above and beyond for our group of 28 college athletes. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. The food was exceptional. Our athletes couldn’t stop raving about how delicious everything was. Having a quality meal like this made a real difference in their performance at the next day’s competition.
In my 20 years working in college athletics, the owner here stands out as the absolute best I’ve had the pleasure of working with. The combination of fantastic food and outstanding service was unmatched. We left wishing we could bring both the kitchen and the staff back home with us! Haven’t had a bad sandwich from this place yet. They do live shows and have ample seating. The owner seems like a cool guy. The last time I went I ordered 6 eggs turkey and Swiss on a spinach wrap toasted in the panini press, everything was excellent. Little pricey, but it’s worth it.

We’re looking for place to get some coffee and bagel while waiting our group. Discover this deli accidentally. After look at menu, we change our mind and stay. Even we already have breakfast, just can’t control to order more stuff than what we need. My brother in law order beef sandwich which looks so delicious. Unfortunately, I already share best French Toast with my sister and no more room for a bite of sandwich☹️. We go to cemetery in Hawthorne twice a year. Just can’t wait for next time to meet that extremely friendly owner.
