The pizza is delicious if you’re picking up a slice to go, eating in restaurant or ordering for delivery. The new owner is so kind, normal, down to earth. I called today on a busy Friday night during Lent and asked for the pizza to be extra hot and he made it happen which I truly appreciate. The crust is thin and crispy, perfect ratio of sauce to cheese. Carmine and Rays is my go to in Closter and surrounding areas if you want a nice slice.

Spectacular pizza! We just moved to Cresskill and we’ve been looking for a go-to. It’s Carmine and Ray’s. The slices are the perfect thinness, very crispy. The toppings they use are high quality. The staff are so friendly. Delivery came quick. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Slice held it shape, the base is crispy. The crust has a nice crunch on the outside while being soft on the inside. There is a slight sweetness to the sauce but not overpowering and quite nice.

I’m surprised this pizzeria is not rated higher. 8.9 out of 10 for a plain pie. The pepperoni pie is delicious. Perfect amount of sauce and very tasty. Could have a little more crunch.

I have to admit, I cheated on you guys and wondered off to Rudy’s… I’m sorry but their sauce tastes like they just dumped it out of a store brand jar …biggest regret EVER!!
