Eat in the Restaurant or if you’re in a hurry order & pickup on the convenient store side ( which I always do while driving uber )
Not like the others places that have the word “ Bronx “ in their store name or a chain of stores

Ordered cheese slice one day, next day, stromboli. Both were great! Me and my daughter sat outside, the worker kept staring & made a statement. I felt unwelcomed but the cashier was nice. The other girl needs customer service skills in welcoming and asking the right questions. Despite her interaction with me, I’ll be going back to try something new

I ordered three subs two out of the three subs were incorrect.
One sub asked for extra mayonnaise we got no mayonnaise at all.
One was a turkey sub in which we asked for extra peppers and extra pickles. As you can see, there’s barely anything actually on the sandwich. The lady at the counter was so rude to me when I told her I didn’t have my cheddar broccoli bites. I clearly checked all of my boxes at the counter. She was so offended that she double checked for me. Gave me an attitude and threw my stuff on the counter. Didn’t even say sorry or anything. I spent $47 on food here just for it to be wrong and to be treated like crap. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Hands down the BEST pizza you can get just minutes walking from downtown St. Augustine! Do yourself a favor: skip the long lines (especially during Nights of Lights) and the over-hype of Pizza Time (St. Augustine’s second best pizza) and go straight to Carmelo’s.
Don’t be fooled by it’s ‘gas station’ exterior, because Carmelo’s surely is anything but gas station pizza! They’ve mastered cooking the pizza perfectly every time, it’s always so delicious. Plus, they have indoor and outdoor seating, adult beverage selections, and a full menu including pasta, salad, meatballs, ziti, and so much more. You honestly can’t go wrong with Carmelo’s!

We really enjoyed our visit! The food was delicious — we ordered a calzone with ricotta and mozzarella, added extra basil and pepperoni, and it was excellent. The garlic knots were also outstanding, super fresh and flavorful. The lemonade wasn’t my favorite since it’s fountain-style (I prefer natural lemonade), but everything else was truly great. The atmosphere felt like a cozy, family-style place, very relaxed and welcoming. The two waitresses who helped us were super friendly and attentive. Overall, a wonderful experience — great food, great service, and a place we would definitely return to.

We were told by a local it was the best in town!!! It was very good pizza!! We had pepperoni, sausage, garlic, and mushroom!!! Service was good, thank you Montana!!! We enjoyed it for sure!!! Price was reasonable!!

Today, after visiting your pizzeria, I was very disappointed!
First of all, we did not like the food and asked to replace the wrap with a salad because it tasted like it had come straight from the freezer and was too spicy. The waitress said she could give us a discount instead of replacing the dish with a simple salad because there was no manager on duty (which is strange — how is there no manager on shift?).
In addition, I asked to charge my phone and gave them my charger. When I picked up my phone, I said, “I appreciate it,” but another waitress started loudly telling our waitress, in front of all the guests, that I didn’t even say thank you!!! So I repeated myself “I Appreciate it” And she said it’s our private conversation!!” How is that possible??? I was humiliated in front of everyone!
So if you believe you need customers, you should replace your waitstaff! I have never experienced anything like this before! I am very upset!

This place is awesome! They are accommodating and staff is so friendly. Icing on the top…food is ON POINT. They also handle crowds like it’s nothing. We watched groups of people swarm here and they handled it with ease.
For the food, they cooked everything exactly as requested. Don’t sleep on their wings, they are SO good. Pizza was cooked perfectly and the cheese they use is cheezin’ just right.
Service was spectacular. Super nice staff and overall were very tentative. They have a lot of patience and were able to answer any questions we asked. This is refreshing in St A during the busy season!

Wonderful “hole in the wall” kind of establishment. It’s also attached to a gas station. Location is nice and close to the Historic District, here in St. Augustine. Wait staff is pleasant and professional. Alexis is wonderful! Plenty of seating in either a booth or at a table. Seating outside is also an option. There’s a nice brick bar with additional seating for 5-6. Menu has a lot to offer. We ordered an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. Love the marinara dipping sauce. (I saved it for my pizza) My son ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad and I chose the Magherita Pizza. In my opinion, the pizza was pretty good BUT could use some fresh garlic. The salad was big, enough for 2 helpings. The bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. The dining area itself was clean. Tables were bussed quickly. The price for food was fair. We absolutely enjoyed our dinner. This restaurant was recommended to us by Lindsey and family over at the Adventure Boat Tours. We’ll be back!
