Absolutely love this place! The service is always great. And the food is excellent, all of the seafood is always amazing. The pasta is great. Definitely get some oysters. Their house Pinot is actually really good. And you cannot beat the view in the daytime.

We were here for a group event. We ate on the first floor with a view of the parking lot. The salmon was overcooked. It must be nice upstairs in the banquet hall with the view of the river, but we did not see it. We did walk behind the building to see the view. The river is very dirty. The staff were not friendly. They really need some training. No one smiles. The bathroom was way too small.

Carluuci’s is tucked away on the Rancocas Creek (river) in Mt Laurel NJ. It is easily accessible from RT 295. The atmosphere is casual upscale with pleasant decor and outdoor seating in season on the river. Very nice. The service is top notch with friendly, well dressed and knowledgeable wait staff. I ordered the Eggplant Rollatini for my main course with a Caesar salad and Clams Casino appetizer. Bread and butter are complimentary. The salad was crisp and fresh with a fine tasting Caesar dressing. The clams were delicious with tasty bacon pieces and broiled perfectly. My favorite was the eggplant. The Rollatini is served on a bed of ziti with a perfectly spiced tomato sauce. Very tender and with lots of flavor. A real treat and one of the best I have had. In spite of all the food I had already eaten I decided to go for broke and get dessert. My selection was Espresso Creme Brulee. If I had any complaint about the whole meal is that the dessert lacked the customary crusty top. It is refrigerated thus the caramelized sugar topping loses it snap. That being said it was awesome for lack of a better word. All in all it was a fabulous dinner and I will continue to frequent Carlucci’s as a hidden gem In NJ.
