There is a massive disconnect between the big beautiful poster photo of the Angus burger that drew me in compared with what I got.
The patties of the poster child looked like a “must-have.” Luxuriously grilled, singed, and bursting with flavor.
The actual burger took me from “must-have” to “must I eat this?”
Technically, it has sear marks, but the actual experience is like it was simply steamed or reheated.
Not only does the Angus status not appear to provide any flavor advantage, the burger patty tastes bland compared with non-Angus burgers of competitors.
The service was great, and the service member brought the burger to my table.
But the service is not enough for me to come back to any location, so long as the actual burger costing over $15 does not live up to the posters.

A 3 star is stretching it. Only because service was good, hash tots OK , orange juice in a bottle well, can’t screw that up. Egg & bacon sandwich, if I had a dog, I’d have fed it to it. Threw out half the sandwich as the bread bottom was either stale or over toasted, turning into powder after every bite. Next time I’ll make the U-turn back & hit McD”s as I had planned on, couldn’t get into lane.

Hudson was the cashier, great young man. I was having trouble with the app Hudson what super polite and patient he showed me how to do it. I really love being back in Idaho the young people are so much more polite the workers do their job with kindness. The burger was good too

I ordered two Famous Star burgers with cheese. Asked for no mayo and dressing, and for ketchup only. I stated I wanted everything to else on it but this is what we got… I also ordered a meal and got fries and no drink. The food was COLD/GROSS like always from this location. I’ve had numerous experiences over the years of wrong orders, cold food, and at times very slow service and got sick once. This is the last time I will EVER be going to this location.

Just got home from ordering fries and a burger in the drive through. Poured fries onto a plate and there was a ton of what looks like chicken breading mixed throughout the fries. There is no way the person scooping the fries into the container didn’t see all that garbage mixed with the fries.

I’ve visited this location a few times since it is nearby, but each time makes me want to return less and less. It’s disappointing because generally I like Carl’s Jr. This last time I ordered a Jalapeno double cheeseburger, which came quick enough but was mildly warm and looked like someone had sat on it. I had to eat it with a fork. Compare the attached photos for advertisement vs reality…
