We just made the mistake of giving this place another chance. All our fried food was luke warm and soggy,the pizza took an extra half an hour past the quoted time, the fried zucinni was barely fried, the fries were soggy and grose the mozzarella sticks luke warm at best, we pay to much money for food, alittle care and quality would have been nice. Won’t give this place another chance. Tired of bad quality food. Tuscany on the corner in town is better. Or rockys in thurmont. Don’t wast your money here.

This is one of the nicest family restaurants I’ve been to in awhile. It is small, only a few tables, but they have a booming pizza and takeout business. We ate in. Their homemade meatlover’s lasagna was awesome. Tasty sauce. Plenty of melted cheese. Lots of meat! Baked perfectly and still bubbling when it was brought to the table. And the meal included a salad! The portion was wonderfully large. Think of a full sized pie tin on a large dinner plate. Talk about value! I had half for dinner and half for today’s lunch. Also, the little loaf of Italian bread was superb. The staff is very friendly and multitasking continually, but not so busy that they won’t check on you regarding how the food is or if you need your drink topped off. In any case, if you’re in Emmitsburg, this is a definite stop. If I’m back this way I will be definitely be stopping back. Now time to catch my flight. God bless!

I used to really to love this place. But the last times I ordered was a very bad experience. They don’t listen to instructions. I’ve order wings and had multiple times the sauce leaking out the bag. Food is never consistent. One time you will get it, it will be amazing and the next time it won’t. They used to add just enough sauce for wings to where the wings wouldn’t be completely devoured with sauce and now they completely fill up the container no matter if u give them instructions. I’ve had wings completely overcooked, subs soggy and a lot of of inconisentices. Their Italian pasta food is okay I think it lacks flavor but that’s just a personal opinion. That’s by far their most consistent dish. And one of my favorite things to get their was their fries as they would normally load up the bag but they seem to do that less now. Now for the horror story of why I stopped using them. I made the simply mistake of ordering right before they closed and they gave me the nastiest overcooked/burnt fries I’ve ever had to look at. I really wish I had the picture but it was downright a health scare. I don’t have the words to describe how bad they were. It looked like they were left in the fryer for way way to long that all the breaded started to come off. I wish I took a picture.

I left a 5 star review 4 years ago, since then they’re reliability to have my order ready on time has plummeted. The food is still great, both the steak and chicken and cheese subs as well as the pizza (sweeter sauce) but I can no longer rely on them to have my order ready on time.

We usually love Carlos. However tonight we decided to order dinners. Can’t say I’ve ever had lasagna with cut up pepperoni and salami in it, wasn’t good at all. The eggplant parm had a tiny piece of eggplant that was mostly all skin. Very disappointed. Will definitely never order dinners again

I usually love Carleos and order from them often, but this visit was disappointing. I’ve never seen string cheese used on a pizza before and unfortunately, it didn’t taste good at all.
