Food was decent but now 100% authentic. I ordered the spaghetti a la Giosue and my husband go the fried seafood platter with a side of regular spaghetti and salad. I must say, the homemade ranch was delicious and their portions are very generous!! Overall, we were happy with this place and the service was great.

Anybody who’s spent time in or grown up around this part of town is sure to have an opinion about Carinis. Seems like half of the people I talk to think it’s the greatest place ever and the other half say it’s not what it used to be. I’ve only been going for about a year now so take my opinion for what it’s worth, but I really don’t see it as anything special.
Atmosphere overall is good. They have a game room that is pretty run down looking, not a huge deal I guess. Always had good waitstaff, no complaints there. But for the price, the food is where this place is lacking. Can’t remember exactly what I got but it was a dish that should have came standard with noodles, but instead I was given a choice of salad or spaghetti for a ‘side’. Not even a choice of noodle type, just spaghetti noodles. My gf got a salad, it was extremely basic. Last time we went late 2025 the sauce in my meal was a little runny and my girlfriend wasn’t super impressed with her dish either. Nothing was spoiled or bad tasting but I think we could both agree something was just lacking, not sure what.
I will still probably continue to visit on occasion and I encourage everyone to at least try once but I think there are better places nearby if I had to pick.

My daughter and I have been here twice together as she is moving nearby. The food is very good, and the service is always with a smile! They have a full bar, pizza and pasta dishes. We tried the white pizza with ricotta, and another with garlic. We also ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken. It was so good with generous portions. The atmosphere is warm and cozy.

This place will always be a favorite of mine. Been coming here for 16 years and I can honestly say it’s always been consistently good. I’ve never had a bad meal nor have I ever received bad service. 10/10 I highly recommend.

We came here to celebrate a few family Birthdays at the same time in the banquet room. We were taken care of and food came out very quick for the amount of people we had. Service was great and the arcade was a nice little touch. A few of the games were out of order but I know that’s how it goes with older arcade games. They had a great bar selection if you want to come and have a few drinks. We had a great experience and the food was great. We will be back soon.

Reviews don’t lie! Food was delicious! Started with a ceaser salad. Homemade dressing and croutons. Very fresh and delicious. Homemade bread comes with meal and very good. Got chicken parm entree. 2 large chicken breasts perfectly cooked. Left here full and happy.
Everything tastes homemade and looking at other dishes all looked phenomenal. $30 for whole meal so thought was fairly priced.

Had a superb experience at Carini’s last night. Our server Bernard was prompt, polite, professional, friendly, and was always there when we needed something, but certainly didn’t “hover”. Everything we got to eat was delicious. Perfect portion sizes, reasonable prices. We’re from out of town and as I always do, I scoured local restaurants for their reviews to inform our decision on where to have dinner. This place lived up to their high average review score. Disregard the negative Nancie’s and their 1 star reviews. That’s noise. The signal here is a 4.5 average.

Be careful ordering online! The site has a field for “Instructions” however they do not read them. Ordered for 2 vegetarians & specified Marinara Sauce. Both meals came with Meat Sauce so they were not able eat them. Too far to go back… ****The restaurant did reach out to me & made good on everything.
