New owners are great and have done some nice improvements. Remodeled the bar and added pull tabs, new TVs and some booths. Menu offers a variety to choose from (steaks and burgers, pasta, sandwiches, potato dumplings just to name a few) and the specials are always great. The staff has been good every time I have been there.

I have been to this place twice. I wont go three times! The first time. i waited for fully fifteen minutes whilst staff passed by me all the time. I was at the ‘Wait to be Seated’ spot in full view and they never even acknowledged me. I stay in this town a good deal due to my work, so a few months later i tried it again. The second time i did get seated but the waitress was terrible. She forgot or mixed up most of my order and it took forever to get my meal. I was the only one in the place too! That’s it for me. They dont deserve a third chance! I’d rather drive 20 miles than eat here again.

We ordered Wild Pacific Salmon with sesame soya sauce and Alberta Beef with mushrooms and mashed potatoes. For dessert we had NY Cheesecake with strawberry sauce.
Amazing place to eat, not only the food but it is truly a great experience. *

Love the atmosphere, warm and friendly staff, plenty of variety in the menu and a great new updated bar! The homemade pizza is also fantastic, and it’s a great place to meet friends for a drink or have a nice sit down meal in the restaurant area.

Warning to travelers: Customer service is reserved for local customers. Traveled through 9 states and countless other local restaurants, and this was BY FAR the worst customer service I’ve seen along our journey. Hours posted online are not the same as the hours they have posted at their business.
Have been to the restaurant twice. Grill is a bit of an overstatement. More of a diner. My girlfriend and I sat ourselves both times. We were lucky to get a smile out of our waitress on the first visit (weekday) but the waitress on our second visit (Sunday) was basically non existent. Got water, then our meal 33 minutes later (2 burgers and fries – mediocre at best, definitely not worth the price). Was never even offered more water, except by my girlfriend who gave me the rest of hers. One traveler came in with her son while we we’re waiting for our food and asked the waitress how long the wait on food was, because they needed to be back on the road in 45 minutes, waitress told them that wouldn’t be possible. The woman and her son promptly left. After customers left, it was roughly 10-15 minutes before the staff even cleared the tables (Cleared the tables, not cleaned them). Silverware was filthy, and it was quite apparent that they just recycle what isn’t used on other tables. While standing for 5 minutes at the counter to ask for a box and pay for our meal, I had to listen to the entire staff joking around and laughing in the back while a local man was visiting with them in the kitchen. Still tipped 10% even though it wasn’t deserved. Nobody asked how our meal was, nobody thanked us for eating and spending our money there. Just all around poor customer service. And for that reason, we will not return, nor would we recommend it to other travelers.

I am a seasonal camper and I thoroughly enjoy going there for a change in menu. Over the winter months, friends and myself have traveled over an hour Just to get a bowl of their delicious soups and salads. Highly recommend.

i love this place there food is so good and yummy. i would go there everyday if i lived closer the service is quick and excellent waitresses are very nice and friendly i really liked that the owner came over to ask if our food was prepared to our liking i have been here several times always clean, friendly,and qiuck service i will be back again soon there soups are the best around

Several poor reviews for here, im overly pleased. Good service, good food, and awesome local beer! I recommend stopping in to the bar and having a few beers and a nice dinner. The coleslaw was awesome!!!

Always excellent service and great food. Travel a lot and this is one of the better lunch spots I have eaten at. Travel eastern ND, Western MN, and northern SD. Always try the soups when I am here.

Food is pretty good when tbey have what you want been there many times and been told they’re out of steak. That aside it does generally take a few minutes to be seated and serviced bit it is due to the restaraunt being under staffed
