Happened to be in town with folks from Philly, so naturally we wanted to see how this place stacked up against the Philadelphia cheesesteaks. Service was fast, prices weren’t bad, but portions weren’t very big. I enjoyed my chicken Gyro, and the Philly locals rated their cheesesteaks 5/10.

This place is a must try if you’re in the area, small family feeling with some of the best food and service with a smile. If I could give them 10 stars I would! Their Bomb Philly is exactly that, the bomb!

Definitely the best Philly cheese steak that I’ve had in Phoenix. And this restaurant is very conveniently located right next to both the light rail and bus routes. And it is extremely easy to get to. Very conveniently located and always a great option to stop for food
When I arrived, they were busy but they worked quick and the wait time was not all that long even though the inside of the restaurant was packed.
I got a regular Philly and it was great. The portion of meat was good, the meat was flavorful and it had a good amount of cheese, mushrooms and onions on it.

30 YEARS!! That’s how long this little shop has been operating. I’ve lived here 11 years and never knew it was there until today. And, I am so glad that I found it! I had a cheesesteak with everything on it and it was delicious. The rolls are little soft pillows that hold all of the meat, cheese, peppers, onions and mushrooms, and the bread must be locally baked just for this place because it’s just so light and perfect. Most places hand you a small amount of meat in a thick roll, but not this place. The menu is small and includes a few salad options. The store was also spic-n-span clean and tidy. There’s a cute little patio outside to enjoy in the cooler months. The owners were super sweet and personable folks who’ve obviously worked hard to keep this place running for so long. Try it!

Im just at a time in life where I just need to go to philly to get a cheesesteak made from its place of origin.
This was a quality philly though. One of the better ones I’ve had in the Phoenix area. Good bread, quality meat, veggies and cheese they use all comes together nicely. Will return for sure.

This is a friendly place. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in. The restaurant was clean. They get busy during weekday lunch. They do not have combo meals but an entree can be made a combo for 4.50. The side of fries is a bit small for this extra charge. The mini sandwich is a good size for lunch. Indoor seating is very limited but there are a few outdoor options. If you drive, parking is in the back. I ordered the original Philly and they give you 3 items to add in before extra charges. They carry coke products. I like being able to see the entire kitchen and the preparation. The fries are just regular shoestring fries, nothing fancy. I wish they had more Philly options given the name. It’s not a bad place to go if you are working and need something close by, but I’m not going outta my way to come here.

Very good Philly Cheesesteaks. Honestly better than some of the joints in the Reading Terminal in Philly.

The name says it all. Best of Philly delivers one of the best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches I’ve ever had. Strongly recommend the full sandwich. While the half is more than filling – full or not you’ll be wanting more. They do offer a combo option with fries and drink for five dollars more

Very kind, very honest people. I went there this morning and ordered a chicken pita. The food was fresh. The place is very clean. I left my wallet there. A few hours later, I called them and they told me it was there. Thank you so much. It’s hard to find honest people these days. Will go back there again.
