Don’t waste your money. I ordered the fried sweet plantains and was very disappointed. The plantains were not close to being ripe and tasted terrible. I also asked about desserts but they were sold out of the 3 options at 3:00. I didn’t order a beef patty but you can judge for yourself based on what they look like

This is a 100% real review from a Haitian that has visited Haiti and has eaten Haitian cuisine from many places.

I had high hopes seeing the pictures online. It was so bad. The jerk flavor was good. I put the gravy on the rice to save it. Otherwise, the dark meat was gross and seemed to not be fully cooked (sorry for the gross picture). There was barely any meat. Rice was super dry but edible with the gravy. Plantains were hard and dry.

What a Hidden Gem. I ran across this place going to the MVA and promised myself to go back and I did. It was about 7:30 on a Friday night and it was quiet in the restaurant with just people coming in for carryout but the lady behind the counter was so sweet so nice explained everything to me and I decided on the jerk chicken with the rice piece and cabbage and plantains. Not only was the atmosphere nice comfortable clean but the food was delicious and very hot. I felt the menu was priced well for what you got in fact I was a little shocked that it was lower than what I expected to pay for that big plate of food and I had plenty to take home with me for another meal. It was delicious. I also got the rum cake which again was delicious and moist and not too overly rummy or wet. I enjoyed talking to the lady behind the counter and some of the guests that came in for pickup it was a very friendly atmosphere. I will return unfortunately I did not get to take a picture of my food as I was hungry and I dug right in.

I had friends come from out of town who was interested in some Jamaican cuisine. I heard that caribeyond was good but had never tried it. I ordered it for our dinner. We were very pleased and thought it was authentic. The portions were big and everything was tasty and filling. Mac and cheese was superb. Will definitely dine again at Caribeyond. We ordered jerk chicken plaintains and curried chicken along with cabbage too. Excellente !!! Thank You

I am so happy with the new Haitian food options. The ladies who take your order (Darcy and Chantal) are so nice and friendly. The food was always good when the menu only had Jamaican dishes, but NOW it’s just what this community needed!

There late enough in the day that some of the chicken staples (wings) that I asked for should have been available. When I asked for them was told they weren’t available not that they were out of it.

The Haitian food is so good! The portion sizes were large. I tried the fried red snapper, fried goat (tasso), jon jon rice, piklez, and plantain. Everything was seasoned well. If you’re looking for authentic Haitian food this is the place!
