If you’ve ever been to Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic you’ve surely tried the traditional Mufongo dish… And I’d bet you loved it! Boy do I have wonderful news for you! You don’t have to travel 2k+ miles by plane to get it anymore! Caribbean Mix is the real deal! They also have the most wonderful Fried Cheese Sticks + we got lucky to try their special Birria Tacos!
The young man who served us was absolutely delightful!
The prices were mind blowing! We paid $42 for an appetizer, two meals, and a drink- in 2024 that’s unheard of for a dinner like this!
The atmosphere is clean, small, and personable. We will definitely be back, and I recommend you come try this authentic Caribbean Cuisine!

Really really good, but also pretty tiny. FYI, they don’t serve alcohol here. We came in right after a party of about 20 people had ordered (and that’s about half the seating). So it took a bit for the kitchen to keep up. The food was amazing. The menu was on the smaller side, but they had dishes not in the menu. Even people who were more picky found something they could enjoy. Well worth the wait.

If you’re looking to try something new, go to Caribbean Mix! Man this place was absolutely delicious.. family owned authentic Caribbean food with so much flavor. Leti will greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed.. she makes some delicious cocktails including passion fruit mojito.
They are open late on Friday & Saturday night (until 2am) and have a special late night menu that will make your drunken tummy very happy.

We loved our Burris Tacos (on special), Cuban, and chicken wings. Drinks did not disappoint either. Ethnicity at its finest. Definitely give this business a try!!

I highly recommend this new restaurant in Lake Ozark. The service was excellent, and they were there to attend to our every need. The food was of super good quality. I had the croquettes as an appetizer and the mofongo for an entrée. I should have come with an empty stomach because the portions were hardy. The chef is definitely a professional because the flavors were rich, well balanced, and delicious. Check out Caribbean Mix next time you’re in the Lake of the Ozarks area.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this restaurant!!! This is a must do in the Ozarks!!
Their food is spectacular!!! The mofongo is extremely authentic!! It is just like the one you would find in the Caribbean! The Puerto Rican rice and beans are also delicious, same with the queso frito with guava!!!
The menu is just perfect and the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

We stopped in for a quick lunch and we we’re not disappointed. The food was amazing. We had the jerk wings and the seafood bowl. We’ll definitely be back.

The good was the food. The Cuban was too much for one person at lunch but it was pretty good. Wife had the parm garlic wings and they were tasty too. The bad, was trying to get out of the bathroom without touching the handle. The door is on spring hinges that close while you’re trying to throw away the towel in the trash that has to be activated with your foot and is too far away to do both, so you have to use your shirt to to turn the Knob and get out. Next time I’ll just let the paper towel hit the floor and they can pick it up, not my first choice but hey, everybody else who exits that bathroom just touched it with their hand and chances are they didn’t wash. The only other bad was the drink list. They had some good options but only the name was listed with no list of what was in it. Don’t know if you’re drinking rum, tequila, whiskey or what’s in it so we passed and had water/soda. If they had description so you know what you’re getting they would sell more drinks. Might be back might not but as a local, I’m glad they’re here.
