I HOPE THIS GETS TO THE OWNER
I wish I had kept photos of the chicken and the food I ordered from this place for Uber Eats. I wasn’t going to write a review at all; I kept it on the low, but here I am, having to write one because when I tried to reach out with my concerns…You know what they did? They hung up on me and canceled my Uber order. I was very calm and professional with the Female that i spoke with she started raising her voice not letting me finish explaining my situation i told her that i do not order for myself as i ordered for other cultures as well the one order i got the last time it was for myself and few other people who they observed the food was not fresh it was STALE and the chicken was CHEWY and had almost black and bule marks on it. And the rice, you can tell it was like a day old. I’m sure nobody would pay for stale food. I tried to explain to her that I usually order a lot from them, but the last time was unpleasant. I asked for the owner/ Manager, but she didn’t give me the number, and then they went ahead and canceled my order. I would never order from them again. Why can she not take a positive criticism about their food not being fresh? Learn to take Criticism because it will help you, and your business won’t last if you treat your customers that way. They need to handle situations like this better. It’s not like I wanted anything FREE; I just wanted to bring it to their attention, but it seems they lack common sense and business ethics, too. I BECAUSE I PUT A NOTE LETTING THEM KNOW I PLACED AN ORDER AND THIS HAPPENED BEFORE AND TO PLEASE MAKE SURE MY FOOD IS FRESH.

I ordered food and got it delivered from uber eats. This was the first time trying Caribbean Kitchen and The food was 10 out of 10. Everything was packaged very neatly & presentation was perfect. I ordered the cassava balls which were amazing!! The chicken curry was delicious and the roti was so soft. The chicken fried rice was good also. I ordered a plait bread and some pine tarts and they didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious and so fresh. Whoever is cooking has well seasoned hands . Only feedback I have is the fried rice was missing something and the fried rice seasoning was a tad bit too much but it was still good. The portions are great also. I will definitely be ordering again in the future.

The doubles had flavor — they were okay. The Chinese pepper shrimp and chow mein were on the sweet side, but decent overall. The portions were a bit small, maybe because it was shrimp. I’ll probably go back to try some of their other dishes..

So disappointed! I really wanted to like the food. Never in a million of my Guyanese years of living on this Earth have I EVER had cook up rice that was the same consistency as risotto! (Mushy and liquidy) What de rassss……Whoever made this rice please do not ever say you’re from Guyana! I got a bag of cheese rolls, which was good and some pone which was decent (but not enough to order again)! I guess I’m sticking to my people in Queens, NY!

Ummmmm, I ordered the jerk chicken, chicken patties and roti on this past Sunday and I’m confused on why these ratings are so high. The jerk chicken had no flavor, definitely no hint of jerk and tasted like straight up rotisserie chicken. It was cooked well but the jerk chicken was not in the room with us. The chicken patties were beyond DRY and not a Caribbean patty as one would expect. Extremely disappointed and definitely not worth $23.

Ordered stewed fish & dhal puri from caribbean kitchen on 12/23/24….it was a big boned fish that was well cooked,but portion size was a joke & it was terribly SALTY…So many restaurants dont seem to taste their own food becuz salty food seems extremely common…Along with small portion size and excess salt,i wont order from here again….Disappointed
