Cute low key spot and the food was really good. The lady was so nice and welcoming considering the fact that I came as a last minute walk in . I recommend ! I’d like to also mention that you absolutely get what you pay for, you get a good amount of food in the take out tray . I couldn’t even finish the whole thing, lord how it had me stuffed!

Went here today to eat with my brother in law. Had the curry goat with rice and beans cabbage and plantains. The food was heavenly and hit the spot and so darn good. Had the food from there prior on a few family holiday get togethers. Been wanting to have some stewed goat for the last couple of weeks but every other place where I live near by don’t have any or ran out of goat. So I patiently waited till today to go eat at this wonderful establishment and it was all WORTH it!

Tried this restaurant for lunch today. I ordered the jerk chicken platter with fried plantains and cabbage and rice and beans. The jerked chicken was seasoned perfectly and juicy with lots of flavor. The plantains were cooked perfectly as well. The food was very authentic and flavorful. I definitely want to try the ox tail next time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.

I always have a great experience when I order. The owner is so nice and staff very friendly. I’ve been coming here for years and love it every single time I can’t complain. Although I always take my food to go, o can’t speak on the dining in aspect. I always order their beef patties and a large curry chicken platter. The large curry chicken platter comes with rice and peas, steamed and seasoned cabbage and plantains. I believe the price is around $14 and I totally think it’s worth it! So much flavor and great texture, this meal never fails me. This is truly my go to place whenever I want an authentic Caribbean meal.

Had their chicken soup a few months back and loved it , fresh ginger and herbs . Couldn’t wait to go back and try entrees but we’re 2 hrs away . Went Sunday evening for take out , got a large brown stew chicken and large curry goat . They were out of chicken soup but the lady called me back to let me know while we were driving . She was very friendly and when my food came out she showed it to me . I was so delighted to see the food steaming hot and so fresh . The portions were huge and so delicious , so much goat , plantains so sweet – 2 1/2 meals . Fantastic , can’t wait to go back . Best Jamaican I’ve had in ages .

Stopped by here yesterday because I was walking around getting errands done and got a little hungry. I’ve given up on good Patties and just eat them out of hunger, but these were a pleasant surprise! Warm, Fresh and Well-Seasoned! Will be back.

Only has dinners. No soups and rarely any “food” like yam or callaloo. Sometimes, they have patties, but menu items are often a toss-up, so best to call and place an order before you get there. Nvr has wings or roti available, and for that, I give 3.5 stars.

First time going. chicken soup was good. Had 2 nice size dumplings , patato, and yam. could of used an extra piece of chicken. flavor was good. Wife had the stew chicken she clean the plate. I had a taste of the rice. Hoping this will be the go to spot. Tired of driving back to Brooklyn l.
