You totally cheated my wife and me out of the $25. I really don’t want to leave a bad review for a restaurant but you made it impossible for me to ignore cause remember you did this I didn’t you did! 1st you hit the order wrong I ordered king fish and you gave me snapper I told you or your wife who ever she is that I ordered king fish but I took the snapper and paid the addition $7 it cost above the king fish. But I was not upset about that. But then you gave us had the fish you chat the middle section out of the fish and gave my wife the head and the tail and thought she would not notice! Not only did you cause tension because of the king fish mess up but then you stole half the fish! Your greed cost you a customer for life. It’s a damn shame!

The attitude of the woman behind the counter is ridiculous/atrocious, especially when asking questions. First she acts like she is doing you a favor by taking your order. Secondly, when I informed her that the reason for me asking a question, was because the last time I ordered soup from there THE SOUP WAS GIVEN TO ME COLD, she acted like that was part of the plan. If you are a person who works extremely hard for your money, the last thing you want is a funky attitude, and cold food, when you go to spend your money. I would rather drive 15 minutes away to Bloomfield, or East Orange, for some reason they seemed to have much better service.

I always have a great experience when I order. The owner is so nice and staff very friendly. I’ve been coming here for years and love it every single time I can’t complain. Although I always take my food to go, o can’t speak on the dining in aspect. I always order their beef patties and a large curry chicken platter. The large curry chicken platter comes with rice and peas, steamed and seasoned cabbage and plantains. I believe the price is around $14 and I totally think it’s worth it! So much flavor and great texture, this meal never fails me. This is truly my go to place whenever I want an authentic Caribbean meal.

Tried this restaurant for lunch today. I ordered the jerk chicken platter with fried plantains and cabbage and rice and beans. The jerked chicken was seasoned perfectly and juicy with lots of flavor. The plantains were cooked perfectly as well. The food was very authentic and flavorful. I definitely want to try the ox tail next time. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Prices are very reasonable.

Went here today to eat with my brother in law. Had the curry goat with rice and beans cabbage and plantains. The food was heavenly and hit the spot and so darn good. Had the food from there prior on a few family holiday get togethers. Been wanting to have some stewed goat for the last couple of weeks but every other place where I live near by don’t have any or ran out of goat. So I patiently waited till today to go eat at this wonderful establishment and it was all WORTH it!

It’s just ok. Chicken was mostly bone. When I informed server she told me that’s the way chicken comes, cut up. I’ve had stewed chicken hundreds of times. This was MOSTLY BONE! Rice had no peas and was bland to me. Veggies were good.

Cute low key spot and the food was really good. The lady was so nice and welcoming considering the fact that I came as a last minute walk in . I recommend ! I’d like to also mention that you absolutely get what you pay for, you get a good amount of food in the take out tray . I couldn’t even finish the whole thing, lord how it had me stuffed!
