Do not come here if you have any food allergies or intolerances. They don’t have any markers on the menu for gluten or dairy or anything else. I asked if the baked chicken was gluten free and the waitress asked me what gluten was. She said it was fine but cross contamination is a concern as I did not feel good the days after eating here.
The service was good otherwise and the waitress had a good memory and was quick and friendly. Our food came out relatively quickly for a large party of 10. They had good seating for us in the other room past the bathrooms. We were seated immediately.
The food is your typical southern cuisine and almost everything is fried so don’t come here if you really want something healthy.

Excellent! The service, seating, food and price were all excellent! I ordered the combo of flounder, shrimp and scallops blackened and it was all cooked and seasoned to perfection. All the employees were very friendly and inviting. I don’t know anywhere else you could get such quality food and service for such a low price. We will definitely be back when in the area!

I wasn’t overwhelmed. Granted, I only ordered apps. The sweet potato fries were good and so were the mozzarella sticks – your standard frozen and deep fried variety, but the dipping sauce was ice cold right out of the refrigerator. Service was friendly but super slow and they weren’t busy on this day. I mean, I’d give it another try but after all the rave reviews I heard from others I was disappointed.

I used to love this place long ago when it was in Charleston, SC so seeing it so close to my friends house, I wanted to go. Big mistake. Maybe the food is better if you dine in but I don’t see that happening. Service was excellent. Our carhop, waitress was awesome. I ordered catfish, scallops, oysters with green beans and a baked potato and I got a side of shrimp. The catfish smelled and tasted rancid. It didn’t even appear to be catfish. The scallops and oysters had no flavor. The shrimp was pretty good. I’m glad I got it. I ate that with the baked potato. I probably won’t eat here again. It could have been a bad day so I suggest people try it themselves. Being from Charleston, seafood is something I eat often and this was not good seafood to me.

1st time customer from Atlanta. I ordered the platter with the ffrien shrimp and flounder. The batter was not seasoned at all. I didn’t like it. I was hoping for it to be crispy but the breading was thick and unseasoned. On the other hand, the fried chicken was cooked fresh to order and it was seasoned well. Definitely go for the chicken. We order through the drive up and order spot. That was cool and the waitress were nice. Oh yeah, stick with fries as a side everything else is not tasteful. Trust me when I tell you that. Overall it was just okay.

Visited here around dinner time and was seated almost immediately upon arriving. Very pleasant waitress who was very accurate with our orders, needs, etc. The food was fresh and hot for the most part. The grilled scallops seemed to be on the smaller side, and they were overcooked. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. Hoping Carey Hilliards will be around for many more years to come!

Terrible experience at this Location. The manager lies straight to your face. Even when they talked to you when you had your problem. We even have proof of the food being old and mixed with fresh food. The wings had feathers on them. GROSS. They told us we can come back and get fresh wings. When we wasted gas and 30 mins of our time coming back. We were told they dont remember talking to us.. Typical Savannah customer service.. Dont give me no bullshit automatic call corporate response. Because tonight was totally unacceptable when we get told one thing and waste time and money coming back just to leave confused and empty handed.
