Carette was truly one of the highlights of our time in Paris! From the moment we sat down, everything felt so chic and charming. The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful classic Parisian elegance with the cutest details everywhere you look.

The food and drinks were amazing. The pastries were fresh and perfectly made, and their famous hot chocolate was rich, creamy, and unforgettable. Everything looked as good as it tasted! We ordered so much and loved every single bite.

Sitting outside and enjoying the Parisian vibe made it even more special. It felt like such a dreamy experience the perfect place to relax, talk, and soak in the city.

If you’re in Paris and want a café that feels both iconic and cozy, Carette is a must. We loved it so much and would go back in a heartbeat! ✨

A must visit location when you are in Paris. Right across the street from Trocadero, the location is perfect. Close to subway stations and offers indoor or outdoor seating. The ambiance and service of Carette are top notch. The food and drinks are to be explored. There’s so much to try and 1 or 2 visits are not enough. Their signature hot chocolate with cream is a must try. Omelettes are made to order with toppings of your choice. The dessert selection is crazy and a treat for both your eyes and taste buds.

Definitely not a cheap place to dine but totally worth the price you pay.

Highly recommend Carette and hope to visit again.

When you visit Paris City, France. Do not forget to enjoy your meal time especially breakfast. This cafe located at Trocadéro Paris, I think this cafe is the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch or snack with amazing view of the Eiffel Tower.

This is my second visit , came here only for brdakfast. I willing to queue just for a hot chocolate with delicious cream. The ambiance is warm and cozy atmosphere, elegant decor, outdoor seating with a great view of the Eiffel Tower.

As usual I tried hot chocolate , rich and creamy served whipped cream also croissants. The prices are reasonable.

To get there , you can take Metro Line 6 stop at Trocadéro station, and choose exit av.Kléber.This cafe is super crowded every day especially breakfast time, so be prepared to queue.

Overall, good services. Friendly and helpfull staff’s. Merci beaucoup Carette.

Charming Parisian café with a classic atmosphere and a prime Trocadéro location. The crêpes were light and delicious, especially with fresh berries, and the hot chocolate was rich and comforting. A lovely spot for a relaxed breakfast or dessert.

Carette in Paris is a classic spot that’s definitely worth experiencing, but it comes with a few trade-offs.

The café has a charming, old-school Parisian feel and is clearly popular for a reason. The hot chocolate was very good—rich, thick, and indulgent—but it’s so decadent that it’s best shared with someone rather than having one all to yourself.

The service was great overall, with attentive and professional staff doing their best to keep things moving. That said, the seating is extremely close together, to the point where you can easily overhear every conversation happening around you, which can take away from the experience if you’re hoping for something more relaxed or intimate. It’s also very packed, so expect to wait to be seated and sometimes wait a bit for your server as well.

Overall, a good stop for the experience and treats, just be prepared for the crowds and tight seating.

First time at this trending place. Really good hot chocolate with cream, it’s expensive but with jar you will get 2 cups of hot chocolate (each) tablespoon really close to maximize people at this place. Arrived around 3 pm by Tuesday and wait in line between 10 to 15 minutes until we get the table. Location is really good in front of Trocadéro. Service was fast and nice. Recommended to visit at least one time when you visit Paris.

This place is located near Trocadero, right by the roadside. Be prepared for a long queue if you come here but trust me, it’s absolutely worth the wait. Even though it was crowded and during peak hours, the service was outstanding. The staff remained attentive and professional, and I was warmly assisted by Karina, who was incredibly friendly and helpful. And yes, the chocolate really is that good rich, indulgent, and unforgettable. A busy spot done right.

The hot chocolate smelled absolutely disgusting you could instantly tell the milk was rotten. I took one tiny sip and it tasted horrendous, like rotten eggs mixed with something sour and spoiled. It was honestly unbearable.

The crepe had zero flavor completely bland, dry, and lifeless. The strawberries were so sour they made my face twist. Nothing tasted fresh.

There was NOTHING special about this place, yet it was ridiculously overpriced for what might be the worst-tasting food and drink I have ever had.

When I told the staff, they casually brushed it off and said, “Everyone else is drinking it and no one is saying anything,” as if that somehow made it acceptable. No apology, no concern, nothing.

The smell was awful. The taste was even worse.

Please don’t waste your money avoid this place at all costs.

Stopped by Carette Café and it completely lived up to the hype! Their famous hot chocolate topped with a mountain of fresh whipped cream is a must-try — rich, thick, and absolutely heavenly. It’s easily one of the best hot chocolates I’ve ever had in Paris.

I also ordered their Roasted Sea Bass, which was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The seasoning was subtle and elegant, just what you’d expect from a classic Parisian café.

The atmosphere is charming and elegant, with a great view and friendly service even when the place gets busy. Perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or an afternoon treat. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Paris!
