I’ve been here multiple times, and every visit has been consistent: fast service, attentive staff, and a hands-on approach that makes you feel genuinely welcomed. The waitresses are friendly, upbeat, and you can tell they truly love where they work—and that energy carries through the entire place.
One of my favorite experiences was getting the chance to sit down for a meal and a few drinks with Marina and the staff at closing time. We laughed, talked, and shared stories like we’d known each other for years. That kind of warmth and connection is rare, and it’s exactly why this restaurant stands out.
If you’re looking for incredible food, great service, and an owner who pours her heart into her business, this is the place. Highly recommend supporting this gem. ❤️ ️

I’m giving 4 stars mainly because wow… this place is expensive. Also, while I was waiting for my to-go order, I noticed the to-go couple before me was offered chips and salsa, but I wasn’t. Maybe they were regulars. I was there earlier than dinner time, and most of the customers seemed like long-timers. Still, it would’ve been nice to be offered the same.
All that said, I’m really glad I tried this place. I actually discovered it because I love Lucky Dealz next door. The food here is genuinely delicious, and despite the price, I can definitely see why people keep coming back.
It’s not a sit down and be served type restaurant. I had to order at the bar. Then sat down at a table to wait. So this is more a step up from like fast food type service. I hope I explained that correctly.
Even though the price is high, the food is good enough that we still plan to go back, just probably to share a plate next time. We’re not low income; we’re more middle-to-higher income, so the fact that even we felt the price was steep says a lot.
But the quality really does make it worth returning.
The margaritas were tasty, but the food undeniably some of the best Mexican I’ve had in years. I had the chicken tacos and husband had the carne asada plate. We could barely finish. The guacamole was yum. The salsa nice kick with all the spices you would hope.
I’ll miss this place when we go home. I’d be a regular.
I judge Mexican food restaurants by their rellenos. Around my neighborhood had been mostly eggy; almost like a dang omelet wrapping a chile. Nope; I was back in NM when is saw and ate their rellenos. Whether Shakira, Marina, or the rest of the family likes it; they are stuck with us as customers. Thank you and your family for such a wonderful experience. Food, service, cleanliness, atmosphere was amazing.
