Some of the best dessert I’ve ever had. The Alphonso mango flavor tastes like you are biting directly into the ripest and juiciest mango. The other flavors also don’t disappoint. I like that they get creative with some savory or non-sweet flavors. It’s always fun to try them out even if they’re not my cup of tea.

Very good. I had the black sesame and the hazelnut chocolate, both delish. The important thing is they got the gelato texture right; many places don’t. The ‘regular’ cup is pretty small, but with the intense flavors and richness, just right for me.

Rich, dark chocolate gelato with an intense cocoa flavor — though it had a strange sugary aftertaste that lingered longer than I’d like. The other flavors we sampled (orange cream and hazelnut chocolate) were just okay. Service was a bit slow, and it would be great to see some low-sugar options on the menu. Still, I appreciated that the dark chocolate was vegan!

I have been coming here since 2010. Best gelato in the east bay (and maybe in all of Bay Area). Texture is luscious, creamy, and not too sweet. Flavor is just the right level of intense. Personal favorite is absolutely the black sesame, piedmont hazelnut, and pistachio

This is it. THIS is the ultimate gelato or ice cream. Good lord. The chocolate is such a work of art. The gianduja is straight-up insane. In both are lovely, intense and layered flavors, with such wonderfully chewey and elastic texture. Seriously, Caravaggio’s gelato is better than any I tried in Florence, better than anything you’ll find in the bay area. Highly recommended. Mandated, really.

Excellent ice cream, one of the best I’ve ever tried. As an extra, they do not use sugar, which makes the final product healthier, lighter, and guilty free. One scoop has less calories than an apple! Tastes also better as you can fully appreciate the hazelnut/chocolate/orange etc (depending on the flavour). They also serve piadina:) . Friendly atmosphere.
