*the photos looks odd because of the dark lighting/ambiance of the place.**
We had to wait for a table inside, they had outdoor open but it was so hot. No a/c inside but cooler than outside. It did appear they were spacing guests, likely due to covid restrictions. All were masked. And food, including complimentary chips and salsa were served in disposable take out containers.
Looks like a family owned and operated. Really nice professional staff. Good pace of checking in on us and of food being brought out.
Everything tasted good. We ordered a seafood plate, a combo plate, tostada and burritos. Hubby said burrito was good size. Quantity and quality, he was happy. Not only was cheese enchilada and chile relleno good, the beans were yummy without being greasy. Our bill was about $70.

I love this place. It’s got old-school ambiance, with a big bang cats (banquettes) and the lighting is perfect. It feels like a family-run place from way back, like the way old Los Angeles restaurants used to be.they don’t have shrimp but they have crab and I got an amazing seafood chimichanga, and the ant got flautas for the first time, in chicken and she loved them it was all around such a great experience, the service is outstanding, the owner asked me how everything was, and I was really impressed with everything.

You can tell this place has history! It almost feels like a throwback, but in a good way. The food is fantastic, with excellent taste, flavor and ingredients! I live about 200 yards from it and I’m just now experiencing it. It’s one of the better Mexican restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley.

First time since the pandemic. The dark cozy atmosphere always makes the eating experience complete. I had to eat my favorite chili Verde. They also have some of the best chips and salsa. There mixed drinks are so good. Glad to have had a little taste of what my normal life should be.

This is a cute little place but the food is just mediocre. They don’t even have spicy salsa. I ordered a Margarita once and it was truly disgusting! I’ve gone here for what I call emergency Mexican Food. It’s when you’re craving Mexican food but don’t want fast food and would like to go out to eat. Don’t get me wrong the food is not bad but it’s nothing special either. The place could use a little make over as well.

Great romantic dinner. Wife and I love coming here for Mexican food. Great drinks, bartender is friendly and makes great drinks. Try the Mexican candy drink. Man is it tasty if you like Mexican spicy candy. Definitely recommend it.
