So, today i ordered a cobb salad from this deli, i am used to ordering from them. I work in a medical office right on Montauk Highway so we order from them all the time. Today I am on lunch break and I go to pick up my salad and when I drive back to my office to eat i find they put a whole iceberg head without cutting it in the container. So know i have a whole iceberg head with chicken on top that I cant move because everything is falling out. I call Donna shes the owner and before im done explaining the situation she tells me “that she spoke with the young man and that he told her that he cut the iceberg and that if im insinuating that he is lying” i called not to ask for my money back or anything just to let her know and she was extremely rude considering my office gives her a ton of service. As a business order, she shouldn’t be verbally attacking her customers when they’re giving her feedback. I like the food but I will not take my service there any longer and nor will my office.

I wish I could add a new review each time but unfortunately I can’t. Today I tried the Chazbo..wrap which has chicken cutlet,, spinach,, sundried tomatoes, swiss cheese. balsamic vinegar on a roasted pepper wrap.. this food is amazing. It is the best wrap I ever had.. we eat first with our eyes. Than our nose and finally our mouth. Whomever is actually making this food is an artistic! I love this deli….they make the best heroes hands down. Their food is fresh and flavorful. Even the detail to wrapping the heroes and they spare no expense on the materials to do so makes it so much more inviting. I love that they actually follow directions and your food is made to order. Great job! I wanted to add another review but I couldn’t find out how to do it so I will just add to this one. I ordered the pastrami, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, mustard on rye. OMG it was amazing and it was packed with meat. I also have to say whomever cuts and wraps these sandwiches is someone who takes pride in their job. I know it sounds crazy but it’s artistry the way the sandwich is perfectly cut and wrapped and not just once but twice. I love this place ❤

i order from captree a few times i order a muffin toasted and it came and it tasted like garlic onions peppers so i guess there not cleaning there grill which is disgusting wont get another dime from me iu have ordered sandwiches and the bread was not fresh hard as a baseball

This is a classic Long Island Deli. I stopped in on my way to Robert Moses with my husband. The woman at the counter was very friendly. You can tell this family runs this business with their heart! I’ve moved away to CT and stopping in here made me home sick. Would definitely come in again for lunch anytime we are in town again! Thank you for a great lunch and pleasant experience. A must stop on the way to the beach!

Wasted $29 for the worst sandwiches and Mac and potato salad! Salads were warm and tasted off. Roast beef was mostly fat and gristle. Not shredded lettuce, but big pieces. I have never had such disgusting roast beef!

Best Deli period.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner. Everyday a new hot platter that’s delicious. I can only eat half at a time they are Hugh. Great heros of all types, so good. Eggs, pancakes, anything you want. The rolls remind me when I was a kid. This place should be 5 stars solid…been coming here a long time.
