This was mine and my husband’s first time eating out since the pandemic started. So, it’s been years. Our daughter asked where we would get food or eat out at if we could. Automatically we both said, “Captain Tom’s.” She made arrangements, paid for our dinner as an Anniversary surprise and we were not disappointed. Food was really good. Even had left overs to bring home. So happy we chose to eat there. It was as good as we remembered.

First of all the Hostess was very nice, the atmosphere was pleasant. I ordered Frog Legs, they were too overcooked for my taste. The meat was very coarse unlike any other I’ve had. The meat was very powdery. The two dipping sauces were phenomenal! I’d be willing to give this restaurant another try but, I’ll definitely be ordering something else.

Food is phenomenal. It’s an old building that could stand to be upgraded, but the food definitely makes up for the old building and decor. We have had much better service elsewhere, but we have been several times now and usually wind up with the same girl, and she treats us well. We finally feel like family there. I can’t say enough about how good the food is. Everything is very fresh. The only item I don’t like is the crab cakes. The deviled crabs are so much better, and I could just make a meal off of those. The jumbo shrimp ,oysters, and scallops are amazing. I like mine fried but my daughter like the broiled ones. If you haven’t tried Captain Tom’s, please give them a try. You definitely won’t be disappointed.

The best seafood I’ve had since moving from Florida in January. Our server Corey was awesome and the place was really clean. Will definitely be back. Would recommend the Flounder and sweet potato. They we prepared perfectly

We were seated right away. It only took a few minutes to have our sweet tea. I had the popcorn shrimp and white fish. The hush puppies are amazing. I highly recommend. Will visit next time I am in town.

Captain Tom’s Seafood restaurant has amazing foods. Their white fish was lightly battered and cooked to perfection. French fries were crisp and not over cooked. Coleslaw was creamy with a hint of sweetness. I’ve never been there before today so I was quite surprised. The waitress greeted us with Hush Puppies shaped like Onion Rings!! How novel!!! Service was fantastic and so was tge food. I don’t mind traveling 35 miles if the food is worth it and this was soooo worth it!! I recommend Captain Tom’s! I approve this message
