You wouldn’t expect a deli this good in small town Ashville Pa. They also do stuff like pizza and wings (really like the wings) there is a little construction going on outside right now, and it doesn’t look open, but there is a little homemade side above the door teething you that it’s open. There is a nice little counter area and some tables. There is some pizza and pastries under the heat lamp and ready to go. The convenience store has most of the things you need in a pinch. Prices reflect the fact that there are no other stores in town. The building is old, but they keep it up well and it seems clean. There are gambling machines in the back for a little fun. There is plenty of parking for the small amount of traffic that lives in and travels through this town.

We had pepperoni pizza and wings. The pizza had thin crispy crust and was delish. Wings were huge and meaty with great flavor. The prices were great for the quality. We will definitely be stopping back. It is nice to have a place so close to home for a quick and easy dinner.

My husband and I stopped on our way through Asheville to eat and stopped here. My husband loves burgers and I love salads. My husband got the mushroom Swiss .. Big and amazing. Same with the Steak salad I had. 5 star food must try. Very clean and friendly.. You won’t be sorry you stopped.

Captain Ron’s has excellent food. Haven’t had anything from here that was anything less than excellent. Small convenience store that always seems to have what I need. They also sale Vale Wood Farms ice cream. If you’ve never had this you need too! They have many different flavors, from vanilla or chocolate to apple pie and pumpkin pie.

Nice quiet place to get some awesome food and relax a bit. Take out is also a fantastic option. I am so thankful for the friendly staff and the convenience of having such a great variety of groceries, snacks, dairy, small hardware, and other “need in a pinch” items.
