Captain Jerry’s knocked it out of the park! I had the sweet tea to drink which was absolutely delicious and I’m picky about my sweet tea. We started with the calamari, and onion rings — all fresh and delicious. The hush puppies had the perfect sweetness, and the coleslaw paired so well with the crispy popcorn shrimp and flounder. The fried okra was exceptional, too — some of the best we’ve ever had!
Not exaggerating when I say I was impressed!
This place is a true hidden gem, and we can’t recommend it enough. Friendly service, generous portions, and everything was cooked to perfection. We’ll definitely be going back!

The hostess greeted me warmly upon my arrival. My waiter was helpful in helping me decide what to order. The food arrived quickly and was fresh, delicious, and nicely portioned.

Where to begin.. I had high hopes, but we won’t be going back. Parking is great, and there was no wait on a Saturday night during dinner rush. We ordered the house special – this could easily feed 2-3 people based on the portion size(was $23). The oysters were dry and massively overcooked, same with the fish. The scallops and shrimp were ok. Hush puppies were great. My kids had the catfish and didn’t eat it bc it was overcooked and dry.($8) Salad and coleslaw were not fresh! Onion rings seem homemade, which is great but just fell apart and were mush. Service is good. The atmosphere needs updating. Overall, it’s not great and won’t be back.

Ms Elaine, Mr Spyro, Ms Nakia did an outstanding job with service today!!! I was politely greeted, presented menu options, and my food was handled with such great care!! I recommend this place 10/10 if you’re in the area or planning to visit!!! Restrooms clean, dining area clean, clean music over the loud speaker. I’m EXTREMELY PLEASED!! Will be treating myself here more often

It’s not the fanciest spot, but let me tell you!! The food and portion sizes are worth the trip. Access to parking and the venue itself is easy to navigate, the staff seems to like working there and it translates into great service. The building of your platter with 2 to 3 protein options is a great way to introduce new items to your pallette. Hope you enjoy your meal and prepare for a takeout box because, as I mentioned before, these portions are more than enough to feed 2 people with one meal.

Prices are high,And you receive less. Fresh it is but over priced. WARNING ⚠️ The Clam Chowder is by far the worst I have ever tasted. And that’s all I did was tasted it and I threw it in my garbage. That’s the worst part I did a take out and I live 49 min drive. Clam Chowder is just fresh chopped clams with diced good potatoes and some seasoning and cream or freshly made. What is the deal that they only put 10 French fries in the order? I have never been to a restaurant that give very litte French fries in Fayetteville. Charlotte always a handfulful of fries with your order. The jumbo fried shrimp is jumbo size and fresh but overpriced.

Ari and Brittany were our servers during our Nubian Red Hat Sisters meeting. It’s always great to be greeted like one of the family! The service, beautiful dining hall, and the food were excellent!! The plates are bountiful, and the price is excellent. Captain Jerry’s Seafood has been providing great meals here in Fayetteville for many years. I am certain that it is because of having excellent customer service and being greeted with a warm, caring smile. Our group will certainly be returning soon. This will be my Friday fish meeting place!!

This place use to be good back in the days, it seems to me they lost their touch. The food was mediocre at best, it lack seasoning. I guess I won’t be coming back here again which is a shame because I remember the good ole days of great service and food at Captain Jerry’s. The service wasn’t great at all too! Find another seafood restaurant, not this one.

After hearing how good this place was, I decided to try it.. Unfortunately, it was not the experience I expected.. I ordered the special platter with catfish, scallops, oysters, popcorn shrimp, jumbo shrimp, devilled crab fries, and hush puppies..
Catfish was cooked well.. Scallops were way overcooked to the point they were rubber, and the breading didn’t stay on them at all.. Oysters had too much breading them, and I could only eat 1/2 of one.. Popcorn shrimp were cooked well.. Jumbo shrimp were pasty.. Devilled crab was like nothing but bread and one tiny piece of bell pepper.. I didn’t see or taste any crab at all.. Fries seemed stale and not fresh.. Nothing was seasoned AT ALL, and everything had a raw flour flavor.. The ONLY good thing I can say is that although the hushpuppies are in rings, they are really good! All in all, I was very disappointed and the food was not worth $25!
