Was in Easthampton with my husband and he was looking up where to grab a quick lunch…which led us here! Absolutely DELICIOUS! Lobster roll was over flowing with huge chunks of lobster and fresh, fries were hot and crispy, and the crispy chicken sandwich was fresh, hot, cooked perfectly and delicious! Definitely will be back! We ate outside, atmosphere was clean and scenic!

I checked this place out yesterday as I was in town for a meeting. Wow what a surprise treat. This place literally is on side of the road, but shares space with the co-op store.
This was probably the best Lobster roll I’ve ever had. Everything was perfectly finished. Huge portion of lobster meat, I’m sure it was a whole lobster. The bun was nicely toasted and portioned nicely with butter. Bun wasn’t soggy and the fries that came with it were nice and crispy.
Staff were friendly, making suggestions on what to order. They were also very accommodating towards my physical disability offering to deliver my tray of food to the table I was sitting at without me having to actually ask them to help me. Accessible parking is located at the back of the shack with easy access to the front.
For foodies this place is worth a trip to Massachusetts just for the Lobster Roll! It has to be in the top 5 places to get a lobster roll in the USA

Stopped by Captain Jack’s Roadside Shack and tried the fish & chips along with a lobster roll. Both were hearty and filling, but the real standout for us was the onion rings which was perfectly crispy, golden, and honestly the best bite of the meal. A great casual spot if you’re in the area!

Hands down BEST lobster roll I have ever had. Not even a competition! I’ve been to so many places in Boston and Maine & this one is absolutely the best! My whole family agrees. It is crazy it’s just a little shack by a grocery store, but those are sometimes the best finds. Can’t wait to visit again when I’m in town, it is incredible!

The fast seafood here is delicious and plentiful. The lobster roll is pricy, but you get a substantial amount of fresh-tasting lobster meat stacked on a roll. The customer service is great and fast. The outdoor dining atmosphere is very nice and family-friendly.

Seriously fresh and delicious lobster rolls! Light mayo so the flavor of lobster really shines through. The buttered up roll compliments the lobster’s flavor! Service was quick.
Also you can choose to eat outside or inside the Co-op.
And there’s clean restrooms and plenty of parking.
Definitely coming back !

My sister was in town from the Midwest and wanted seafood. I heard Captain Jack’s was good, so I suggested we try it. My sister and I both ordered lobster rolls and they were amazing! They were packed with lobster (huge!) and had just the right amount of mayo, enough to taste, but still have the lobster be the star of the show. My mom ordered a fish sandwich and said it was amazing too. My grandma, who doesn’t like seafood, ordered a kraut dog and enjoyed it. The lobster rolls were a little expensive for lunch ($30), but worth every penny.

The lobster roll and whole belly clam platter were both really tasty and the portions were generous. That said, we waited nearly 90 minutes for our order, which definitely put a damper on the visit. I’d recommend Captain Jack’s if you’re not in a rush and have time to spare — just be prepared for a long wait

Had a great lobster roll and fries. Also tried the fish and chips. Both were classic and consistent. What kept me from a 5 star was that the lobster roll was $29. Granted, the bun was packed with lobster and served with a heap of shoestring fries, but it wasn’t anything special. The location is great though for a summer lunch outside.

First time eating here after a recommendation from my daughter. This place is a little different… Like a food truck but in a fixed structure. Biggest draw was the lobster roll. Rave reviews from those who had it. Fish and chips and fried chicken sandwich were also very good. Fries were crisp and tasty. The onion rings were thinly sliced and a must buy.
