My daughter tried the fried chicken wings and was very pleased! It was freshly cooked (not double cooked) golden crispy and piping hot chicken. It was worth the wait.

Try the wings here if you come for Tesla supercharger. You have to try the food here. Fresh prep and cook per order. Chicken wings, really crispy and juice inside. I recommend regular fried chicken rather than Buffalo or another flavor. It’s decent sauce. This place is busy and has a long wait time.

I had the 4 Wings/Fries/Mild Sauce and Pepper. The food is made fresh to order right in front of you. The only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5, was because the chicken tasted like it was cooked in used fish grease. Other then that it was OK, I would go back and try something different one day if I’m ever back in this area again

I had never heard of Captain Hooks and I’m not into community, fast food joints at all. It’s also been a long time since I’ve eaten any fried chicken. I didn’t feel like going home to cook nor going to a restaurant: wasn’t feeling long wait times nor was I feeling like being in people company this evening. I saw Captain Hooks of Flossmoor while searching UberEats. I went on Google maps to view its location and its menu. I liked the location and the chicken offerings. I ordered fried thighs and drumsticks. The order arrived 45 minutes earlier than indicated. When I say the chicken was delicious, the chicken was just that, delicious!! I really thought I’d probably made a mistake. One can imagine my reaction to discover how good it truly was. Each piece had well, balanced seasoning, the skin was fried just right: crispy and lightly crunchy. Here’s the best part, the chicken was FRESH and HOT, not cold, not warm, not refried. The chicken was hot and succulent. Each piece was juicy; not oily. I only ordered one side, their coleslaw and it was good too. I don’t care for overly sweet, saucy, vinegary slaw. This coleslaw was just right for me. I’m not a fan of fast food joints, but this was a good choice.

Wow where do I start. Absolutely so delicious… Everything I ordered was fresh and so tasty. I got shrimp , catfish nuggets, chicken and chicken tenders. I live very far from this restaurant but it’s worth the hour drive.

Stopped in at Jersey Mike’s to grab a Philly, but the line was too long of a wait so I thought I’d try next door and check out Captain Hooks (1st time). Well first, there was no wait & I found they offered a Philly sandwich too, so I ordered one. It was delicious!! Just as good as Mike’s, but $2.00 less too! I think I might be a new customer more often; I’ll be back!!
