At our Farmington, NM location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

This Captain D’s does a fairly good job of getting orders out on time. I always enjoy Captain D’s approach to fast food fried fish. This location in particular does have a drive-thru but it is not obvious from the roadway. You have to drive around to the back of the restaurant for the ordering window.

Customer service is excellent. Food is delicious. Dining room could use help from a cleaning service. The price increase would not hurt Captain Ds customers’ pockets. An elevated (standing) table would be nice. Thank you

I always get the 3 pc fish with fries and cole slaw. All of it is delicious! Right now it’s drive thru only but it’s good to picnic in your car in the parking lot =).

I was in town on vacation and it was getting late for most restaurants. I called ahead to see if they were opened/when they would close. I got there 10 minutes before closing and there was a car at the drive up window.
They turned the light off on their menu as I pulled up and didn’t answer when I spoke into the mic. It seemed that they were intentionally avoiding one last Customer.

Looked at online menu. Because the drive through don’t work. Asked for 2 different meals. Was told no we don’t go by that menu the website was put up for Captain D’s menu not updated. Don’t waste your time and got to LongJohns. They have an updated menu and you can order online.
