We’ve never had Captain D’s but decided to try it while passing through town. The food was really good, everything was hot, fresh and cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly and patient as I figured out what I wanted. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in the area.

Great prices and good food for the money. I had the fish value meal and it was fresh and served quickly. I appreciate the drink station and the sides are amazing. Clean eating area and courteous workers. The sauces go great with fries, shrimp, and the fish. I eat here as often as I can.

What I wanted was not listed on the menu, however they had it and made it for me. Cornmeal fried fish. Some places call it country or southern fried fish. What ever it is called it tasted very good, not greasy or doughy. The sides at Captain D’s are always world class and delicious. I thought the price was a little high, but what should I expect for a special order.

This is the first time I came home with something I didn’t order. I asked for 4 piece chicken, but got home with 4 piece fish. I don’t like seafood. But i did taste it in case it was a different shaped chicken. Lol, and i still dont like fish. Haha . But my cats ate some. I can give them another piece tomorrow. And I ate my green beans, broccoli, and hush puppies .
