At our Cincinnati, OH location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I been went to Captain D’s about in couple years ago but this year on 2026 an going to avoid going to this same place cause when an call them to order 2 pieces of fish meal with a Captain D’s coupon by the mail, then they just never pick up to answer the phone. This service is absolutely irresponsible & unacceptable for whatsoever. Seriously, they need 5 more coworkers or staffers to be training & to be help out with customers so it won’t be any error situation going on for that point.

VERY DISAPPOINTED AND FOOD NOT EDIBLE!!!! Fish, fries, shrimp, hush puppies, and fried okra ALL tastes old and freezer burnt. Okra was under cooked with no seasoning. Shimp taste store bought. Fish had some kind of seasoning dumped on it and had a very unpleasant taste. Spent over $50 and was only reimbursed $8.88. ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

My daughter and I bought three fish dinners. My daughter had the two three-piece dinner for $15 and I had the four piece dinner and I added shrimp. All three dinners the fish were burnt. You can smell the burnt fish before you even open up the container. The sides were fine but the fish was horrible. It was July 10 and it was around 8:20 when we got there to pick up our mobile orders, we stayed in the drive-through for 30 minutes and it was only three cars in front of me. Our experience was horrible.

Not the best customer service as far as drive thru time slow & CustServ politeness is lacking but the food was fresh so that was great. Just don’t ask any questions lol and you DO need to ask for condiments (tartar/hot sause)napkins etc.

I really dislike bait and switch tactics. On the menu, it says “two sides of your choice” comes with deluxe seafood platter. Well they upcharge $0.99 for macaroni. Both sides were minuscule! The wait was about 15 mins in the drive though. They forgot my lobster bites, so I had to wait another 10 mins. I was nervous the entire time because this location gets “ robbed” a lot. If you are coming here for funnel cake fries; don’t! Go to skyline instead. Antonette was nice considering everything, she gave me my lobster bites without argument. Food was 5/10. Thank you

I wanted a real good Sunday dinner, instead when I came home to open a box of Hooks Fish and Chicken. Now, I usually wouldn’t do this but I had my taste buds fixated on what I ordered. The heartbreak at the open was beyond me. I am absolutely devastated. I had no choice but to eat what I had due to the traffic jams.

Horrible. I called 20 times. The phone kept going to their fax machine. I inform James that my ticket order 123 order FISH, not chicken. Slightly confrontational, said it was fish. I told James several times its chicken. I live 10 miles away but I will return the food at his request. AMAZING, I don’t know the difference between chicken and fish, lol
