At our Covington, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

On Saturday the fish was hard /burnt with batter not the country fried fish. The chicken tenders was hard and the hush puppies was like wet or gushing on the inside, but hard as a brick. The grease seem like it was old and dark burnt. The building and the parking lot needs repairing.

I ordered the 3 piece fish dinner (with lemonade) and it was delicious. I dined in…the restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. The young lady that took my order was very kind and courteous. It was a good experience and I’d definitely recommend this Captain D’s. I’m sure I’ll be returning
