Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

The service is always professional, courteous and thoughtful. Everyone from management to the servers. Though my father and I visit fairly regularly, we only use the Drive-thru so I only gave it 3-stars. Nothing against the establishment or the staff. They always remember to give us our Veterans discount with dignity and respect.

Wow today is a sad day.I can’t believe that Captain D’s went so cheap on literally all the food. The only thing that didn’t get smaller was the shrimp. If you’re looking to improve your business, don’t buy cheap.Cause that makes us not come back. I would rather pay $20 for a good meal than $14 for a terrible one.

Placed an order. Wasn’t what we wanted an didn’t get what we wanted plus, it was burnt. The woman I talked to wouldn’t do anything cause, I didn’t have a recite. They didn’t give me one. Order was to be two pc batter fish an we got catfish. Okra an fish was burnt an didn’t even get my corn or Okra. Hush puppies you could have played baseball with them. Waste of money. I want be back. People check your food.

The chicken dinner I ordered was a four piece meal and my husband ordered a four piece catfish dinner. The size of the chicken pieces and the catfish pieces was very small. If I had been really super hungry I would have taken my meal back because it was skimpy. The food did taste good.

Got home was missing food. I went back to get the food and ask for cold food to be replace since it been 35 mins. Was told no very rudely by the manager. It would have been an hour old by the time I got home. Will like never go back.
