At our Leeds, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

No complaints on my chicken, however fries were old and cold. I had to wait on food but that was to be expected as the chicken was cooked to order. Staff should have made sure everything was of standard.

Came in for lunch. We were greeted by the warm staff. Discussed menu options and was given the best choice for what we wanted. The order came quickly and was hot and ready to eat. Additional condiments were offered and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit in the quiet, peaceful atmosphere of the location. I highly recommend if you’re in the area to stop and experience what we experienced. we will definitely be back next time. We are in the area.

I did a online order like i normally do when i deliver down the street and went thru the drivethru of which i was told i had to come in. Why? I went inside and was greeted by a nice young lady but a very rude manager. All i asked for was extra sauce. If you dont want to be at work today SAY THAT, and give the other nice young lady that manager position. And for peets sake there is sn entire app that regular customers can order from, everybody is not door dash or whatever delivery app you all use. I think thats why they told me to come inside but they should’ve asked

Waited 30 minutes in the parking lot for my food. Only got two plates. Very slow same thing happened again today!!! Very slow with no one even there!!!! It’s horrible… talk to your Employees..same thing again today!!!8/25/23 waiting for 30 minutes with no one in line! They didn’t even get my Order right. I keep going back hoping it’s better but it never is. The staff is ridiculous.

In My order were green beans, they tasted like soap, apparently they did not rinse something completely, this makes you question all the food, keep an eye on their kitchen score. Very difficult to hear them with that glass screen that serves no purpose. They could be a really good chain if they didn’t hire people that just don’t care. This is not the first time Capt D’s let me down. I really like their fish I wish they could get their act together I would eat there if they could.

Ordered a fish sandwich combo and it was a waste of my $7.70. The fish keep tasting extra wet. While driving and eating. I turn my light on to look at the food and this is what I found! The fish was NOT fully cooked! Also, the fries were cold! A huge disappointment because after not eating since 1230pm I was really hungry. Do not apologize train your ppl or upgrade your equipment. I have read the reviews and cold food happens a lot at this place… LEEDS CAPTAIN D’s! Find the problem and fix the problem!
