At our Monroe, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

We waited at least 30 minutes for our food, and this is at the window not in line. They weren’t busy at all, I’m assuming they had only one cook in the kitchen. The lady working the cash register was eating while working. I wanted to ask for my money back and leave but my children wanted the fish. The food was hot and accurate, I will give them that much.

I got to the drive thru at 9:54pm and they close at 10pm. At first, the kid didn’t want to serve me because of the time, but he finally did. Food was great! P.S. If closing time is 10pm, then people should be served if they arrive prior to 10pm.

I ordered 2 piece fish, baked potatoes & broccoli. Every piece of broccoli had big rotten spots. It was very visible. I have ordered this many times and have not had a problem. I can’t believe they actually put it in the box. They could have said they were out and I would have picked something else.

Got the clam platter on the way home tonight and it was really good! A nice portion, not overcooked, which is really easy to do with clams. I’ve been to this location a number of times, and it’s always been good. Friendly service as well.

Nice people and great service the lady checked and made sure all the food was there but could have done a little better about packing it! The 5 crab was really only 4, the crab shell is in there but no stuffing! Sometimes everything is on point and sometimes it could be a little better.

I just want you to know that we have been eating here for so many years. We won’t eat the fish again. I knew that it was different as soon as I saw it. It is not flaky, more firm like chicken and taste different. Not a good change Captain D’s.

Good customer service! Fish was hard on outside wet between fish n batter¡ Was not pleased with the fishy smell or texture¡ They got me¡ First time I went about 2 months ago had a wonderful meal! We came in with 13 people on April 8th for my birthday around 6:30 and had great service and food. Our food came out in a timely manner. The cashier was very helpful with making sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for making my birthday dinner night great.!!
