I grew up in South Louisiana so it is kind of difficult to compare Captain D’s to the seafood restaurants I grew up with. However if you live in Atlanta and don’t want to spend a fortune my experience was very good. This location is fairly new, it was clean and the staff was very friendly. I definitely will return.

Shrimp was not deveined in the popcorn shrimp… luckily some of the veins were visible through the breading so I noticed and did not eat the shrimp.
I didn’t ask for sauces when ordering online, somehow thought it would be included but that might be on me that I did not end up with any tartar sauce or ketchup. It is nice to be asked if you would like any sauce, especially when going through the drive thru.

My co-worker and I placed an order at drive-thru. We sat at the window at least 10 + minutes. We arrived back at work, our fries were hard and disgusting and the corn on the cob was wrinkled and burnt..(you could smell the burnt corn before taking it out of the bag). Needless to say our entire lunch was a waist of time & gas. I still don’t understand the 10 + minutes wait time at the window considering our food was a disaster. I called and spoke with Tanya, I believe that’s what she said. She spoke to fast with her Indian accent. All she did was interrupt me, saying (ma’am, ma’am, ma’am, everything is cooked fresh) then she asked a man when was the corn cooked, he says 10:30 am – well, that not fresh if I’m at drive-thru around 1pm. She then says, drive back up here and bring the uneaten food back or take a picture to show a manager- there’s nothing she can do. My question & concern is why wouldn’t there be a manager on duty??The bottom line is I’ll never visit this Jimmy Carter-Norcross location again. People work to hard to visit this location and to know that the employee(s) who packed and bagged me and my co-workers food made the decision to provide us with stale, wrinkled, burnt corn and hard dry fries. SHAME ON THEM!

I always order delivery this my location they always do me right i love fish and I get my food hot and fresh all my condiments in the bag my sauces I don’t have complaints from them at all thanks captain’s team …

I’ve come here a number of times. Each visit was got worse. I’m done eating here. They constantly run out of food. Intercom is always very low. You can barely hear what they say. Food is usually hot, but hey constantly get orders wrong. And the manager guy is very dismissive of their mess up in an order. No respect for paying customers. The Manager is sitting in the window constantly after taking your order.

A group of 13 of us came into this Captain D’s and were tired and starving. We were the only ones in the restaurant. It took a while to get our food, but it was hot and fresh. Everybody was happy. The hush puppies were huge, probably the twice the size I’m used to getting.

I ordered the big fish spicy sandwich and fries for the 5.99 meal it was good but I only had 16 fries and thats counting the little ones and yes I counted them …. this is the second time I have gotten so few fries and I’ve only ate there twice….

I have recently discovered Captain D’s and this location has treated me incredibly well since day one. The food is always fresh, plentiful and hot. The atmosphere is always clean and relaxed and the young lady who took my order even brought it out to me as soon as it was done (at my seat). I have zero complaints about this location and nothing but nice things to say about this facility. Captain D’s is awesome and this location has been a fantastic representation of what the institution stands for and has to offer. Thank you for your service! I will definitely be back!
