At our Charlotte, NC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Man y’all. I first of all grew up with Captain D’s in Memphis, home of much good food.. But my mom’s and pops, being from up north, knew the taste of a good peice of fish, and omg the vinegar!!!!!! Me and my Momma came in today, after this place was rebuilt. Wow!!! The freaking awesome experience it was. Cause sure, I’ve been in brand new places, but not the atmosphere, the team here is absolutely, I’m telling you, God and fish come together in this place, in these people!! I’ve never written a review that brings goodness in to my heart enough to almost tear up. This is that review. The young man at the register!! Loved him, he reminds me so much of my step son, who is living such a rough life, but in this young man, his smile, his honesty, everything from this point, made my whole day, and gave me hope, that all things can be overcome.
I came in nursing the worst hangover yall, 4 real, in a very long time, nothing to be proud of, but left reconnected with my inner self and these ones too. my crazy venmo would not work right, then your 4th batter in the line up came. Anyone ever played baseball. Knows this is your strong hitter. I don’t remember her name, but if you guys read this, you’ll remember me and know who was there today. to the angel manager in the field, she hit home run after home run today. We sat close eating and enjoying our bounty. Lol, and come to know someone today, that you don’t find many of. Truly caring, truly compassionate, for life and love and family and all what’s right and true. I left today feeling like I swear y’all, part of the crew!! Even the gentleman who just was hired, told me his hiring story and he had the best light on him. Sorry, bad with names on a normal day. Then as we spoke and I live in ROCK HILL POP’S!!! WE NEED YOU HERE. WE NEED YOUR CREW, NO Competition IN THIS, lane. I have been begging so.long as I see many CD’s being closed, just maybe due to whatever, but if you put this store, hired people like this, or possibly brought some with you!!! You would make my whole not just say, life!!! That’s kinda how crazy I am about the franchise. I spoke with a wonderfully nice young lady by the Name Lilli. I also have my first born to that name. When I heard someone call her name, that’s when I knew, I had to pitch this, we need you !!! Lol but I’m serious

They are back open since being closed for remodeling due to a fire. The food was hot and tasty. The staff was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about food choices. The updated surroundings felt comforting with their old Decor brought back with modern and updated look and feel. Happy they are back open again.

I had a great experience at the Woodlawn location! The restaurant was clean, and I noticed Mekia cleaning even before we left. Mekia was our server, and she was very pleasant and friendly, which made our fast food experience more enjoyable.
