This is a very tradicional seafood place with a cool decoration and a pretty good service. You feel welcome as soon as you get there. They have a senior staff that are super nice and kind. A very important thing: the tip has to be in cash. Do not forget that to recognize the good service.
The food is good and we love that they have fish options broiled which we consider more healthier than fried. Also I have to point out the flavor and different way to serve hush puppies! It’s soo good and easy to eat!

If you are looking for great tasting seafood at a fair price in Greensboro, this is the place. The service is always good (Tammy is amazing), food comes fast and hot, and the portions are very generous. So much that I can never eat all of it. Usually get the fried oysters and the are always perfect and not greasy. Fried okra and turnip greens go great with them. Decor is classic, outdated fish house, but clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

I ordered to go & got the Fried Shrimp Platter. It was delicious. The batter on the shrimp is not the typical batter. It has more flavor and a nice crispness to it. The hushpuppies are definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. To top it off, I was given a free sweet tea by who I’m assuming is “Captain Bill.” I’ll definitely be back!

I came here on 10/10/20 while leaving work. I decided I wanted some seafood and this was the first place I came across. Upon walking in, I was greeted promptly. The two people I saw was so were so friendly and welcoming. After ordering, I was given a free tea and chocolate. While waiting for my food, I noticed that although it was for take out only, there were many people coming in to pick up food orders. I think most people got a free tea and chocolate, which is good customer service. I noticed the guy, who was an older gentleman, was friendly to everyone who walked in. When I got home, I enjoyed my food. I feel like the money was worth it. Shrimp is definitely my favorite food and the hush puppies were good as Well. I would come back!

I had a lightly blackened grouper sandwich, that was cooked to perfection. My husband had a fried combo plate of white fish, shrimp with fries & hushpuppies & no dry overcooked fish here; it was all cooked perfectly.
