The donuts that are coming out of Captain Baker’s donut shop are astronomically delicious I love the fact that you can stand there and watch them make the donuts dipping it in the various glazes, adding the toppings fantastic touch. I ordered a dozen donuts and I just said give me your most popular ones too many different flavors and varieties to choose from everything you can tell is made in house which goes to show the high-quality of the donut. As a YouTube food reviewer if you’re ever in Cape Cod and you need or want a tasty donut this could be possibly your best option. We stopped in here for their NYE donut drop and it did not disappoint! They had hot chocolate and small donuts to eat and their store was open so we were able to go inside and watch them make their specialized donuts.
They have all of the different flavors on display so it’s easy to chose which ones you want and they also have a small gift shop. If you are in the area, stop in and check Captain Bakers out. Grab some coffee and a donut!

Captain Baker Donut Shop is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth. We tried the blueberry muffin, s’mores, and peanut butter and jelly donuts—each one was absolutely delicious. The flavors were creative, well-balanced, and made fresh!
We also grabbed a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a Portuguese muffin, and it was perfection—crispy, warm, and flavorful with that soft, slightly chewy muffin that tied it all together.
One of the coolest parts? You can customize your own donuts with different glazes and toppings. It’s such a fun and unique touch that we’ll definitely be taking advantage of next time.

The storefront is very cute with off-street parking. This is a more customizable donut shop that’s topped to order. They have a selection of donuts with various toppings or you can make your own. The donuts are flaky and crumbles when you bite into them. The toppings are fun and there’s something for everyone. These are normal sized donuts and are pretty light.

Delicious old fashioned donuts made to order. The perfect amount of crisp on the outside while soft inside. I’m blown away by how many fun options they always have. Even the coffee flavors were very appealing. I recently tried a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and wow was I impressed. This review is super late—but better late than never! I first stepped into this place last year and was immediately overwhelmed (in a good way) by the diverse menu. So, we decided to go all in: two dozen doughnuts and a big taste test with a group of six. And honestly, these are some of the best doughnuts any of us have ever had—and we all travel a lot.
The service is immaculate, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the whole place has a warm, homey vibe that makes you want to stay a while. The prices are fair for the quality you get, and the doughnuts are always fresh. They even offer day-old doughnuts at a discount, which is a great touch.

Donuts were delish! However they are on the smaller side. So don’t get one donut expecting to fill you up! I got the French toast donut, along with the siren breakfast sandwich.
The breakfast sandwich was served on a cinnamon raisin bagel with one egg, few chips of bacon, smothered in honey, that was delicious. I would highly recommend that breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich is $8.50 though. But with the for first time start.
Here’s a picture of the four donuts that I got from my family. Cute little outdoor seating area as well. Go give it a try. You can create your own donut toppings, frosting, glaze, etc!

I did not visit the Donut Shop but have heard great things about it! I took a visit to the small Gift Shop out back and let me just say it’s a must see! Very unique Cape Cod gifts, stickers, jewelry. Handmade items, etc. Great job with the selections! Happy I finally found this little gem!
