I thought this place was a great experience. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the button game to try to win some free food. The boil is very flavorful and was great for my taste. It is very garlic heavy and we ordered medium spice and I would have labeled it as a “spicy” level, so if you’re sensitive I recommend going a level down. According to my other party members this sauce is on the sweeter side to many boils, but I was a fan. Highly recommend the garlic noodles as a side.

My wife wanted Crab Legs for her Birthday so I found this restaurant online with great reviews.
The place was cozy with a good atmosphere. The place was very clean and our waiter had a wonderful attitude. My wife ordered the Seafood Boiler with Snow Crab Legs and mussels which came in a bag with potatoes and corn and they gave her another side free which she chose eggs. She went with the hottest season plus extra because she likes it Spicy . I had the Fish (Cod) and Chips and a six piece wing.
Over the food was good and we had extra to bring home.

I love the Downtown Decatur area and while me and my friend were unsatisfied with the customer service at First Watch in North Decatur, we stumbled across this place and I must say, we were highly satisfied and will return. The customer service alone was worth the price! Our food was amazing!!! I don’t even eat alot, but I ate all of my food. Lol. Very laid back environment with friendly staff. We will definitely be back soon! Thanks Capitol Loui for a great experience!

Nice service and pretty good food (but this is coming from someone who doesn’t eat seafood). I had the wings basket and besides being a tad peppery they were good. Not huge wings and they only gave 5 or 6. The fries were the best part for me. My husband had the fish and chips and he said the fish was ok but bland. My friends that’s ordered seafood said their food was good. One said mediums spice was pretty spicy. The madam berry? was good and I took the drink pouch with me. They did add a gratuity (we were a party of 6 paying by 2’s). No real complaints but be prepared to pay for parking. They did validate our ticket up to 2hrs since we parked in the garage in the back.

I ordered the fisherman platter. I waited 40 mins for a to go order. The staff was nice they were definitely short staffed. The food was barely fried not crisp. The food really has no flavor. I ordered Cajun fries they gave me sweet potato fries. This was my first time visiting and my last.

For something close and convenient, Capt Loui is fairly affordable and delicious with a good number of options. My favorite are the green mussels in a medium or mild spicy in Capt loui sauce.
I don’t think our waitress did the cute spinning of the bag to mix our stuff. We got two sides of garlic noodles and a boiled egg. You have to try the garlic noodles and mix them in the sauce. The calamari combo was kinda chewy and needed a sauce.
I’ve been here twice- once for their lunch special and once for dinner. Overall, I’d give it a 4.7, but I’ve be open to trying new places to compare~

We enjoyed our fish baskets, and the lunch specials come with a drink. Did not have the seafood boil so I cannot speak on that. The funnel cake fries are delicious!

We tried this Cap’t Loui location in Decatur, but we are used to the Duluth location. We were both disappointed in the quality and service. I even asked if it’s the same owner… service was so slow since they only had one server… I ordered our usual and waited and waited…

Stopped in and ordered a boil bag while my husband ordered the seafood basket. All the food was incredible. I also tried the adult Capri-Sun and it was delicious. Definitely would recommend to anyone stopping through!

Came here today for lunch found a piece of hair in my food. The server did nothing to accommodate the issues also the whole duration of my friend and I having lunch. Did not check to see if we needed anything or was okay. Here is a picture of the hair. Oh my hair is blonde and this is black hair so not my hair. This is VERY NASTY. Will not be coming back anymore.
