I was raised southwest of Philadelphia so I know what hoagies and cheese steaks should taste like. I never thought I would find one like back home until I found Capriotti’s has shops here! I knew they were started in Delaware and was glad to see the name! I was in heaven….my cheese steak was perfectly made the way I like it, loaded with meat. yumm!! I also bought an Italian Hoagie/Sub….there was so much meat on it!! Another…sighhh…perfect. If you want to know what a Philly cheese steak tastes like, go to Capriotti’s. Can’t wait to go back!!

I ordered a couple of plant-based sandwiches for delivery, and I am so impressed with the service! One of the sandwiches came with a side of marinara that had a handwritten note taped to it explaining that the sauce contains beef. As a vegan, I was incredibly grateful for that. To the employee who took the time to do that, you’re awesome!

I was online searching for a sub shop that possibly had vegetarian or plant based options. I was so excited to find that this place had what I was craving a version of steak! Before I ventured out, I received an advertised $2 discount option and a perk for a small free sub. There were instructions on how to receive the sub. Upon attempting to complete the order on line, I received a message stating the online order option wasn’t available. I did however receive a discount code of which I presented to the person taking my order at the sub-shop. I was told it could not be honored. I then proceeded to ask questions regarding the sizes and prices of the two subs I was looking to purchase. I received pointing and an abrupt explanation of my question to my surprise! This was a take out order, totaling $24 for two small 8 inch subs. The food was decent, but because of the abrupt and rude way that I was treated, I will never return to this sub-shop. I am normally a very generous tipper, but I refuse to reward someone for treating me with such disregard!

I first came across this sandwich shop by accident, I was hungry and my co-worker said let’s try this place, So I got a stk and cheese sandwich ole school w/extra meat. For me I didn’t need the extra meat as the sandwich was over flowing with this deliciousness. I go home and tell the family about this mouth watering meal and we decided to order sandwiches for dinner the next day. My mother ordered the Bobby ( it’s a turkey, dressing and cranberry delight) My sister wanted the Stk & Cheese like I had the day before. I dove in ordering The French Dip (w/ grilled onions and extra Swiss) My oh My the Au Jus was great. Thank you Guys for a great dinner!

Stopped by for my first visit today on 3/11 for some carryout. The Wife ordered the 10” Bobbie sub with a salad and I chose the 10” Italian sub. The Subs were spot on delicious and made with the freshest of ingredients. They were incredibly delicious down to the last bite. The Wife also got a half Wagu and blew salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing. And a peanut cookie and a chocolate brownie for later. Total price just shy of 45$, I thought it seemed a little high until we began to eat. Now I believe it was well worth the price. If you want a delicious sub with the best ingredients prepared by great folks stop here you’ll be glad you did.

We spontaneously stopped at Capriotti’s and I am so glad! We got the large Impossible Cheese Steak Sandwich (which is actually 2 full subs!). I positively inhaled my portion. It was the best vegetarian version of a Cheese Steak sandwich that I’ve ever had and it tasted just like the sandwiches from Philly! I cannot rave about this sandwich enough. Everything was perfect: the ingredients, textures, FLAVOR, and temperature. It’s not a matter of if but when we’ll revisit Capriotti’s. Absolutely fantastic! Excited to try other things on their menu!

First timer, so I checked their website after ordering the Classic Chicken Cheesesteak. The website shows diced sweet red peppers on the sub, there were none. It was also very dry as no sauce is added. I recommend asking for ranch or mayo(if you like that).

We are visiting Indianapolis for North Carolina. We had bad food after bad food. Then I found this place, OMG, it was off the chain! My husband did not want to come here, but he ordered his favorite sandwich the Italian, he hated to say these words but He said, “honey, you did good” . I have the pastrami slaw sandwich, so good!
And they were so helpful with all my question that tourist have when out of state. Great people, great food.
