Looked a little small at first upon entry but was seated on the second floor that I had no clue was there. Atmosphere was exactly what I was looking for. Staff was totally friendly and even made us a couple NA cocktail that weren’t on the menu because we don’t drink. Food was exquisite. I traveled an hour to get here and it was worth it. I’m planning another trip.

Scratch Italian kitchen with a true Italian owner who puts his love of food into his menu. Pasta, made in house!! Their homemade red pepper, tomato olive oil spread for the pre-dinner wait is addictive and best of all, on-the-house. I have to stop myself from just spooning it directly into my salivating mouth. Honestly, I have tried almost everything on their menu and have loved them all!! I bring family and friends here to impress and enjoy the attentive staff. The staff at this place are experienced, professional and accommodating. You can tell the staff are proud of the place they work at. The owner is so detailed oriented that he even stuffs his own blue cheese olives with high quality olives. So get a martini just to try their amazing stuffed olives!! Bonus: true craft Italian beer on draft!

Capri is a must-try restaurant in Plainfield! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. We started with a drink at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Larry. He was incredibly efficient, managing a busy bar with ease. Larry mixed a perfect drink. He took the time to make every customer feel acknowledged and valued. His professionalism and skill truly enhanced our evening. I highly recommend seeking Larry when sitting at the bar. We’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

This is a corner restaurant located in downtown Plainfield. Very nice interior that gives a relaxing vibe. Service was above average with always having water glass filled. I believe the pasta is home made. I went with a sea food pasta with red sauce. The sea food was just right and not overcooked. Also tried the capri cocktail. Overall I would def recommend this place for a date night or special occasion. Price for meal was a little pricey but worth the it for the quality of food.

Capri Sogno has been on my list for a long time, and today, I got to experience this amazing authentic Italian restaurant. I called about 20 minutes before my arrival, and the gentleman reserved a table for us even though he said they’re pretty booked. The ambiance of the restaurant is Bistro style with a rich selection of menu and wine. Perfect for a date night. To start with, I ordered Cozze Alla Capri and Risotto. Both were exceptionally good. Steamed Mussels came in a delicious white sauce. For the entrée I had Agnello Oreganato. Lamb with Oregano and lemon sauce cooked the perfection. My spouse had the Chicken Parmesan ( Pollo Permigiana ) he liked it a lot. We had no room for dessert, but our waiter told us that they had fresh homemade cheesecake, so we couldn’t resist. I don’t know how one simple Cheesecake can get this good, but we have had the best cheesecake ever, so please don’t skip the dessert part if you visit The Capri Sogno!! The service part was very professional.

We made reservations here for Christmas Eve dinner at 6pm. We arrived at 5:45 and were forced to wait outside in the cold for an hour because our table wasn’t ready yet. We eventually gave up and went somewhere else. Very poor management and communication. Many others were in the same boat and we were given no information as to why things were taking so long. My family and I were very disappointed that our Christmas Eve went so poorly.
