Food was great! Eight of us with reservations, hung out at the bar for a libation or two. A lone server asked if we wanted to place appetizer orders before we left the bar and warned me of a pending 10 person reservation approaching. Server was wearing a sling and still managed all the tables. Excellent work! Good sized portions, interesting flavors, no issues voiced from any of us. The large open layout was reminiscent of a banquet hall; the potential for a loud evening is there but we kept it down. Our meals were between $20 & $30, plus the bar tab…but worth it. We’ll be back.

How this place has 4 stars is mind blowing. Our clue should have been 0 cars in the parking lot at dinner time yet our hungry souls ventured on anyway. We soon found out why, when it became evident there was no love in the food. Ordered a NY strip medium and got a bland slab of beef well done, no spices. Husband ordered shrimp scampi and it was made with jarred garlic and Costco shrimp and the entire plate was swimming in sauce. The food was awful. Decor was ancient. On the plus side the workers were friendly and it had a great view of the lake. I would recommend passing right by this place.

Food was good. I had the roasted peppers and lasagna. Service was great. We got plenty of bread for our kids and they were very patient with us. Lake and marina view was nice. Restaurant decor was old school form 70s or 80s.

Old-fashioned, family-owned place that’s been around since 1950. Best lamb chops I’v ever had. Nothing fancy, but friendly service and a view of the lake.

We went on a Saturday night in July. Beautiful location with a view of the lake, old-time Poconos dining room (wide open) very nostalgic feel. The bread was warm and refilled often – this was the highlight of dinner :(. I think the calamari appetizer came frozen from Costco (but the marinara was good.) Linguini with white clam sauce – pasta was overcooked, there wasn’t much to the sauce, side of broccoli was overcooked and mushy. The salmon was just ok. The baked potato came out cold, we sent it back. It was returned to us over- microwaved and inedible.

When we got there we did not have a reservation so they said instead of sitting by a window we could have a hightable or there would be a wait so we agreed. The waitress came and took our drink orders, then came back and took our appetizer order which took forever to cone out. We only had two appetizers 1 order of mozzarella sticks and eggplant parm. They were both very good. While eating appetizers the waitress took our food order about an hour later our food came out. We didn’t order anything crazy just 2 Chicken Parn, 1 stuffed Flounder and 3 penne Ala vodka. The waitress was very apologetic as it was not her fault. At the end she took all the drinks off the bill and gave us 3 pieces of cake on the house. She had asked if her manager came over to talk to us we told her no and she said he is going to. Which he never did. In the end they did the right thing but for what we got it should not have taken us 2 1/2 hours to eat dinner. If the food wasn’t good we would never go back but because the food was good we will definitely give it another try.

Terrible service, worse food… I don’t believe they make anything from scratch here, and you can taste it. However, this incredibly dated restaurant has great views of the lake.
