This is the finest restaurant in the entire zone. I did not even know it was here in Nevada City? The food, the wine list…real French Champagne!! Dining on the veranda looking over a beautiful waterfall and stream. Gorgeous!! I love great cuisine and this has the finest entre’s, salads, sides, and the dessert was just as good. Huge NY Steak that was the size of a small roast. Start to finish itr was an amazing experience one rarely finds. We were treated like royalty. They serve brunch, too…and I will wager they make the best Eggs Benedict in the land. Extraordinary. I have found a new favorote retautant by far. You must eat here!! If you do not…you are really missing something amazing. It’s actually romantic ambience, and a great place to fall in love all over again. Five Star? No…Ten Star! This is the way a fine restaurant should be. Finest chef this side of the Pecos!! After dinner you feel just fine……..words don’t do the place justice. The cows are right out back on the grassy area, and you choose the cow to make your giant steaks from! That’s fresh grass fed beef! What could be better?

Classy as it gets around here. I love coming the Alexanders Station for the waterfall ambiance at sunset. But after this last time I’m coming back for the service and special touches. Vincent the chef appeased my desires and made us a special mystical truffle sauce. It was sublime. Plus our server brought over a special celebratory gesture, which went above and beyond. So grateful to have this gem in my neighborhood. Excellent gourmet food, excellent service. Thankyou!!

Amazing food and service. Entrees include soup/salad, vegetable and starch. Beautiful plating. Will return. Pear tart was light and delicious. They make their desserts in house.

Super accommodating and thoughtful staff. I came in wearing JUST my moomoo nightie with no questions asked. Succulent chicken and a homemade waffle with house chipotle syrup- my favorite brunch food. Rare, juicy steak and perfectly poached eggs- divine simplicity with every bite. Morning sun dappled trees and a flowing waterfall made this spot a perfect place to brunch.

I really wanted to love this place for Mother’s Day brunch. The food was decent but nothing spectacular. Brunch buffets are tough to pull off so this could be part of the reason. The service was ok. Everyone was friendly but they were busy and we ended up bussing most of our own plates to clear the table. The atmosphere, however, was beautiful. We waited to sit on the patio and it was well worth the wait. We’ll try it again just for the location… I’m hopeful a non-buffet meal will be one to brag about.

Very nice Easter brunch. We plan to return to try them out for dinner. We returned for dinner mid-June. It was great! We just came back for Sunday brunch today and tried the fried chicken and waffle… Yummy!

We have followed chef Alexander all over the greater Sacramento area over 30 years. He always puts out great food, and the Station is no different. We had a fantastic meal and a nice bottle of wine. They even managed to make it snow for us.
