Good place with nice atmosphere, and friendly service. The food tasted really good especially the lamb and fettuccine. The cocktails were also nice!

The only thing is the pricing feels moderately high for the portions. Which are a little small and for a lamb piece the cost was around $42 with some mashed potatoes and gravy! Feels real high. If they work on the pricing it would be better.
Overall it’s good 🙂

The food is absolutely amazing, beautifully seasoned, with meat that’s incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. The mushroom pizza is a fantastic choice for anyone with a big appetite: rich flavor, perfectly balanced toppings, and pizza dough that’s just right, light, crisp, and delicious.

I’ve genuinely loved everything I’ve had here. A big thank you to the chef and our server for making the experience so enjoyable. Our visit was outstanding, and we will definitely be coming back!

We’ve now hosted several family functions at Capra’s, seated at the chef’s table in the back dining room, and every experience has been wonderful. We’re always welcomed warmly, the service is great, and the food is delicious – and that’s coming from a very picky Italian family. Jonathan has been our server a couple of times and he is always kind, attentive, and provides excellent service. Massimo has also stopped by our table on occasion, which is always a thoughtful touch and adds to the overall experience. Most recently we celebrated our daughter’s baptism there, and the team went above and beyond to make the day unforgettable for our family. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it.

I had a wonderful date night here on a Friday night. Fred was our server and was so attentive it truly felt like we’re at an upscale restaurant. Even though our pastas came late they comped us with wine and dessert. Food was an overall 10/10 too. Really authentic Italian food with the proper ingredients for carbonara and tiramisu!

Came in on a Saturday night to celebrate our 10th anniversary, Michael was our server, he was very attentive and friendly. He found out it was our anniversary and brought us two glasses of prosecco along with our drinks, this was such a pleasant surprise.

I ordered a Bellini and my husband an Aperol Spritz to start, both were great and refreshing, can’t wait to enjoy them again on their patio in the summer.

We ordered the bruschetta, which was nice, really fresh tomatoes. And shared the Mortadella, Stracciatella & Pistachio pizza and a Carbonara, the pizza was very interesting, tasty and not heavy, nice blend of flavours, the pasta was perfectly al dente, creamy, but a slightly bit salty for me, however, sharing it with the pizza made it all balance out in the end.
To finish, we shared a Tiramisu, which is definitely in the top 3 of best tiramisus I’ve had in my life. Simply delicious.

We enjoyed our meal and the service from Michael and the other servers was simply great, constantly refilling our waters, picking up empty plates and cleaning up the table were all such nice touches that helped make this such a wonderful evening, we’re definitely coming back to celebrate more special ocassions.

Echo the last comment. Value was poor.
Service was ok. Food was ok, my tortellini was very bland and flavourless .

Seating was very uncomfortable. Neighbors close by were close to the point that everytime a certain server walked by they would always clip my side or the person at the other table.

In my opinion it is very pricey for what was served. The place was busy, perhaps some servers were better than others which make people come back?

I would give this place a 3.5/5 stars.

Writing this review makes me sad.

I love Chef Massimo. I follow him on Instagram and he’s wonderful. I was so excited trying out this restaurant for the first time, but then I was super disappointed.

As soon as you walk in, you noticed that the decor has seen better days. Crooked pictures and mirrors on the walls. The chairs are all torn apart. It just feels like this place was once really nice and has lost its groove.

The server seemed to have no idea what was going on. It wasn’t even busy. We were only there for lunch. She didn’t know the answer answers to any questions I had about the menu.

I ordered the char with vegetables and a side salad. The fish was OK but a little overcooked and the skin on it was not crispy at all. In fact, it was rubbery and gross. I had to take it off if you’re going to leave skin on fish it should be nice and crispy

Everything seemed extremely oily.

My friend had a salad that consisted of potatoes, tomatoes, and capers. Her salad did taste very good so I’m happy that hers was a little bit better than mine.

I know Massimo has restaurants in Niagara Falls and perhaps more of the attention is in those restaurants? It’s just so disappointing because I really wanted to love this restaurant.

We have been here quite a few times to celebrate birthdays! We’ve had some wonderful servers who have gone extra miles to get the team of servers including the cooks to make it a vibrant celebration
Singing happy birthday, when we have mentioned that we are celebrating someone’s birthday! This time it did not feel the same! We missed that vibrancy! No wish, just a quick candle put on the table and the server walked away! . Other than that food was great!

In general, a very nice experience I would recommend. The food was filling, but didn’t feel overbearing in the slightest. The atmosphere was quite beautiful and a dim lighting which felt romantic in a sense. The staff were really polite, alongside quick service when it came to bringing food out. Eventually, it did get on the louder side around 6:30 pm, but was quiet otherwise

We had our first anniversary dinner there last night and I had to write a review. It was one of the finest dining experiences we have had in the Toronto area ever. We had never eaten there before but are both fans of Chef Capra. We secretly hoped we’d see him in action but he was likely taking a well deserved evening off. But that didn’t sour the evening. First of all, the menu had such a variety of things to choose from and the wine list had such variety – there’s no doubt that they can accommodate any budget and you will have a fantastic evening. We started off with some cocktails before our bottle of wine. We then shared the beef carpaccio and the bruschetta- both I would suggest were the best we’ve ever had of those items ever. We then shared a short rib tagliatelle and then the entree of the lamb shank. Again, both just absolutely fantastic. We really wanted to treat ourselves with it being our anniversary and boy did we ever. But the star of the evening was our server Sean. I would suggest he again set a new high standard. As I noted earlier we were sharing some dishes. At other restaurants they’d give us a plate each and put the dish in the middle. Which is fine. But Sean went above and beyond splitting the course in front of us. But with such passion and presentation. He went out of his way to engage with us and even gave us two glasses of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary. This is a long review. But its the only way I could fully capture how perfect the evening was. From greeting to ending with a tiramisu with candles on it – the whole staff from the kitchen to front of house did Massimo proud and I really do hope he sees this. We will now become regulars… with the drive from Newmarket. Thankfully we stayed close by at a hotel and Ubered so we both could enjoy all the aspects of the evening. I can’t give enough stars for this review.
