Just picked up an Italian hoagie and a slice of pizza from this place. Pizza was fine. Hoagie was a disgrace. Italian hoagie with American cheese. Who puts American cheese on an Italian hoagie? Half sliced tomato on each half. No oregano and astral pickles and they left them off the sandwich too.

This is our preferred Local “Pizza Parlor” as we say in South Jersey. Quality Pizzas with a wide variety of Toppings, tasty Appetizers and some of the best Salads you can get in a Pizzaria… but they keep where they buy their Lettuce a secret! The friendly Staff know like Family since we get Take-out there so regularly.

Was hands down the worst cheesesteak I’ve ever had. Not really sure what kind of meat was in the sandwich. Definitely wasn’t as advertised as a Philadelphia Cheese Steak sandwich.

Cappy’s was great when I was a teenager but as an adult it’s average. Average pizza, average cheesesteaks, average food in general. Average does not mean bad, it just means I’ve had better and I’ve had way better. Their stromboli is yummy though, I’ll give them that lol.
I understand we live in a tourist-ridden area, and it’s a bad economy, but the prices are absolutely insane. 2 16″ plain pies & 1 2-litter of soda is $38.99 BEFORE tax! A basic breakfast burrito & small coffee is $11.99 PLUS tax! For those prices there’s a lot better pizza and sandwiches to be found locally.
Staff is usually pretty friendly. Inside is casual and decorated kinda cool but there’s no air conditioning at all and unreadable to done inside even if you were ” lucky” enough to get one of the few tables they have available.

Small take-out place with great pizza, pastas and sandwiches. Service can be slow during busy periods, but food is worth the wait. Friendly, attentive service.

I was very skeptical getting pizza here in cape may. Best decision I made was getting it from Cappy’s! By far the best crust I’ve ever had!!! I mean everything about the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza we got was amazing! The guys in the shop were great! Entertaining kind and willing to teach my son about pizza making. Do not hesitate stopping by and getting a bite to eat here!!!!

I always stop here on my way to work in cape may. I work and can eat for free at the restaurant I work at I still come in and take advantage of the life guard special. I love the buffalo chicken pizza. I truthfully haven’t had a bad experience here. As long as the doors stay open I will continue to eat here.

Excellent pizza although a bit pricey for a plain cheese pizza. This is our go to for pizza whenever we are in the area.
