Literally gagged when I took my first bite so I started digging through it. I asked for small garlic and pepperoni. The fact that there was a full layer of jar minced garlic as if it was cheese or something was absolutely disgusting! $40 wasted off uber eats and the pizza was cold too. They’re 5 minutes from my house and I paid for priority delivery. Do better.

We use to enjoy this place, but the last three times that we’ve got pizza it’s been horrible one time the bottom was burnt another time. It was cold and this last time it looked like they took a spoonful of sauce and threw it over the top I asked for light sauce … O called and was told time That was is what the Chicago pizza was like so I order told her I wanted light sauce and without the sauce on top and light in which the girl at the front was rude on the phone and she didn’t want to replace it with a new pizza but the manager did . Well It was exactly like the one the last one cold and sauce thrown on top just gross . We’ll never go back there New York, New York pizza , ABC pizza and at this point Hungry Howie’s is better than Cappy’s. Never again a waste of money threw it out

I had heard the pizza was good so had to check it out. Parking was pretty easy, there were some spots out front. A lot of effort has been put into the decor. Each glass topped table is filled with different old school toys and Monopoly money, and the walls are covered in vintage signs and photos. The Greek salad was a good. I recommend getting a starter as the pizza took a while to come out even though there were only a few tables that were seated. The deep dish pizza was a highlight, and I would eat that again any day. The Cappy on the other hand was a miss for me. Overall, the food is pretty good, so if you are looking for a lowkey pizza spot with a big personality and low prices give this place a try!

Cappys is the ultimate neighborhood pizza joint. The food is fresh and the pizza comes out piping hot. The dining area is large and filled with nostalgic items. Highly recommend!

I think this was probably the worst deep dish I’ve had in my life. Definitely in the top 3 worst pizzas I’ve ever had. Sauce had half tomatoes in it. Crust was burnt, flavorless and very dry and dense. Pizza wasn’t cut.

Good pizza but the Chicago deep dish crust is all wrong. Chicago deep dish crust isn’t sweet which leads me to believe a cornbread mix is used. Windy city crust is like a more baked, buttery, flaky biscuit. If you guys nail that you have the most true to Chicago deep dish pizza this side of the bridge.
