AMAZING. I was taken here for a surprise birthday dinner and man what a place. I ordered a pizza and it takes a little bit for the deep dish, I was watching other people’s food come out and my mouth was watering. My pizza was so decadent, it felt high class. There was a dinner rush and our waitress was so nice and kept everyone topped up through it all. I dont care if I end up “sleeping with the fishes,” Im telling all my friends about this excellent pizza.

Sat me and my date at the bar immediately, which I prefer and worked out perfectly with the speakeasy atmosphere. Drinks arrived quickly and with friendly service along with a food order and appetizer to show up quickly after. Excellent food, great service, and a unique atmosphere with fun and nostalgia baked in the mix. Nice work Capones.

This place is a hidden gem. Literally good luck finding the door. But that’s all part of the atmosphere. You will feel transported to another place once you walk through the door here. The service is great. Atmosphere is quiet and cozy. Great for a few drinks or a hearty meal. Took my in laws here and we all tried something different everyone enjoyed their food and the portions were huge so be prepared to walk away with leftovers. Two of us tried pizzas. I had the Alphonse. It was delicious, as was my husband’s shrimp and chicken vodka pasta. My father in law tried the shrimp scampi and loved it. The cheesy bread and calamari are so good. They had specialty drink there at the time called Al’s Gone Bananas. It was amazing. Would partake again.

It’s always a great dining experience, the staff are all friendly an helpful, awesome selection of drinks and the menu choices all look so good it’s hard to decide which dish to choose.

Staff was really nice. Cocktails were really tasty. Service was a bit slow at first but the food was so worth the wait!
For starters I highly recommend the cheesy garlic bread and the marinara sauce.
Then for entrees, so many great choices. You cannot go wrong! Everything is really tasty.
Portions are big, so there’s a high chance you will have leftovers to bring home.

Great experience!! The restaurant can be quite busy with a bit of a wait time but its definitely worth it. We were seated right away the last time we went. Our waiter was excellent, always kept our drinks full, cleared our dishes & asked several times if we had questions about the menu or if we needed anything during our meal. There were three of us, we ordered a deep dish pizza which was perfectly done… it takes a bit longer to make but again, well worth the wait. We also another pizza but this one was Detroit style on foccacia bread… this pizza consisted of a lot of bread but it was mostly hollowed then stuffed with toppings, so delicious. Lastly, we ordered the famous Capones lasagna. Such a masterpiece dish! Unbelievably fantastic flavor with layers and layers of noodles, meat, cheese & tomatoes with lots of sauce. I highly recommend the food, service and pricing at Capones Speakeasy! The cost for the three of us was $84 without alcohol but with an appetizer and three fountain drinks. I believe the quality of the food, service and atmosphere justifies the cost. The atmosphere is calm, quiet with dim lighting… nice decor for the theme, tables are nicely spaced… we didn’t feel as if we were dining too close to other groups. You won’t be disappointed with a table at Capones Speakeasy in downtown Muskegon.
