Great little diner near the Promenade. Good variety of food, friendly waitstaff and decently priced. Loved the “gangster” decor! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to eat.

Excellent family run Diner. The food was great, recommend the Irish breakfast (all day). Alp, the owner and daughter were so friendly, nothing too much trouble. The speed of service was breathtaking by today’s standards …….they deserve to succeed.

Proper Old-School Fry-Up Heaven!! This place is a rare find, a proper, no-nonsense cafe serving the kind of full English breakfast you dream about. Big portions, perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, golden hash browns, and toast that actually tastes like it’s been buttered properly.

The tea comes in a big mug (none of that dainty cup business) and keeps flowing, just as it should. The prices are more than fair, and the staff greet you like they’ve known you for years, even if it’s your first visit.

If you’re looking for great coffee, delicious treats, and a place that feels like a hug in cafe form, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Dining at Capone’s was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had on the Isle of Man. As a regular visitor, I’ve always appreciated the island’s warmth and hospitality, but this restaurant was the complete opposite.
The burger I ordered came with a mushy bun, an overly greasy patty, and cheese that tasted artificial. The entire meal felt poorly made and unappetizing. When we politely made our complaints, the staff responded with hostility, insisting their food was flawless and refusing to acknowledge any issues.
I strongly advise others to avoid this place. Until the quality of both food and service improves significantly, Capone’s does not deserve your time or money.

Stopped by the diner for lunch and the food tasted decent at first. Unfortunately, not long after, I came down with a serious case of food poisoning that left me completely immobilised for two days. Definitely not the kind of experience I’d hope for from a meal out.

A few months ago, my friend and I had an unfortunate dining experience at the restaurant. We ordered a chicken wrap for lunch, but the chicken was significantly overcooked. We politely raised our concerns and asked if we could either order a different dish or receive a 50% discount due to the poor quality. Instead of addressing the issue constructively, the staff dismissed our concerns and claimed we didn’t understand how chicken should taste. Eventually, they reluctantly allowed us to order a different dish – a burger – which was served to a better standard.

However, throughout the experience, the staff remained uncooperative and confrontational, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This was particularly disappointing as my friend is a first-time visitor to the Isle of Man, and this experience left a negative impression on what should be a welcoming and culturally rich destination.

I strongly urge the management of this restaurant to reflect on their customer service approach and take steps to improve the quality of their food and their attitude towards guests. Until then, I cannot recommend this place and encourage others to consider dining elsewhere unless improvements are made, both in food quality and customer experience.
