My experience at this café was quite pleasant. It had a very nice, clean atmosphere, and the service was good.

Although they do not have a wide menu to choose from, the few things they offer are visually appealing and made with fresh ingredients. This sandwich—it’s the one with avocado—was delicious, and the hot chocolate was very good as well.

In addition to that, I was able to consult some accounts at Capital One and get help with what I needed to know about my account. I was able to enjoy a pleasant time there.

Their coffee and snacks are great. Really the environment is too. I genuinely like this place for coffee.

But their banking is terrible. The bankers there are the exact same as their customer service line. They don’t have authority or know how to help you with anything besides opening an account.

I liked Capital One for a long time, but as soon as I had a problem, their customer service’s incompetence was revealed. Just really bad service for banking/credit card customers for the company as a whole.

I just wish they had a real branch with a real banker that could actually listen to me and try to help me out. Instead I am just stuck in this endless verification loop with a hundred different phone representatives that have no authority to do anything besides call me and waste my time.

So if you visit this place, just enjoy the coffee and the atmosphere. Try your best to avoid going into the back and opening any accounts.

Well we really appreciate how helpful Mai and Tim were in the lobby as Capitol 1 brand Ambassadors / customer service. They are awesome and knowledgeable. The Cafe itself serves great coffee/latte hot or on ice. The coffee is high quality and much quicker than Star$$$$s!

Nice place to do some quick and quite office work too.

Super clean! Love that just having a capital one credit card means 50% off drinks at the cafe and access to workspaces as long as they’re open! I was on a business trip, but wish I lived close so I could be here all the time!

First time coming here. Capital One Cafe is also a bank. Took a chance to see if we could get a medallion stamp to certify the document. Unfortunately, the cafe bank can’t do it, we have to go to the actual bank to get it done. The ambassador at the cafe was so nice and helpful. He made several phone calls for us to confirm that Capital One offers this service at the Woodbridge branch. Best customer service ever experienced!! He even paid for our drink! Highly recommended! Next time when I come by Short Pump, I will stop by for a coffee, 50% off for Capital One customers.

Imagine my surprise when I came across the Capital One Café and the sign that said half off drinks if you have a Capital One card! Sold! I was able to get a delicious latte for my drive home. The lovely employees were super nice. There are several positively-worded signs in case you have any questions Capital One services.

There is a “no public bathroom” sign. Folks, is this equivalent to a restroom is for customers only sign, or is this a step further, meaning, restroom is for employees only? Well don’t worry because they have an intense, mustachioed man who’s on the lookout for you to let you know, once you’ve purchased things of course, that you’re sorely misled.

When most see no public restroom signs they think they imply the store has a restroom that one is allowed to use if they buy something. SB locations have these signs, implying customers can use the bathrooms with codes from the receipt, they are paying and can use the bathroom. Others who do not pay, cannot.

This place has food and drink and sit down area, so they need to rephrase the sign to say “no bathrooms”, instead of “no public bathrooms” since most places offering food and drink have bathrooms. This would prevent lots of confusion, but they probably won’t rephrase it because they’ll lose most of their customers which are people thinking if they buy some of the bad food/drink here, or are capital one users, that they are a customer who could use a bathroom.

We know your work set up most likely has a bathroom for employees, like all stores with human workers, but hinting at the bathroom is strange, it almost implies come buy something, use the bank, and you MAY get to use it. The intense, mustachioed man’s job is to tell people “we have no bathroom” after watching confused customers wander to a strange, mysterious banking area that is allegedly the whole point of this place but which you will be questioned about going to…what about save money on that guy’s salary and just make your signs clearer? The whole place is confusing, neither the banking nor service is done well.

The main problem with this coffee shop is the employees. They don’t care about the customers. My girlfriend and I waited in front of the cash register for about five minutes without anyone saying a word. The two employees simply went about their business, ignoring us. In the end, we simply went to the Starbucks across the street, where the employees are much more polite and welcoming.

My husband and I were welcomed by Mai. I applied for a credit card and all the steps and questions were answered. She was very kind and smiling. She gave us two coffees, which was great. Thank you for a wonderful experience! 🙂
